Here are some pics from the thread I started. I think they look fine, but living in Oregon with lots of rain in the fall and winter I'd much rather have a tire that functions well, as opposed to looking "cool." I also like the way the look more than the Bridgestones because the tread pattern is symetrical.

i ran bridgestone re760's on my last car and liked them a lot. granted, my si had much different needs than the 370 does, but i'd try the 760's again on the 370.

i ran them for 8000 miles with very little treadwear. they felt pretty darn good, too.

I know testing shows they are a good tire in the rain, but they are far from great. I backed that up last week in a rain autox, they weren't all that. I had more hydroplaning on them than some crappy stock econ tires

I won't be running at auto-x speeds on my way to work, but they can't be any worse than the stock tires were. No offense but I'll still put my faith in an actual test, with actual numbers and set criteria over your single anecdotal day in the wet.

they are better than stock for sure. i just dont think they are that hot and i have data to support it myself

I agree...they are a pretty pansy looking tire. Very unaggressive tread pattern.

You're right, the way a tire looks is much better than the way it actually performs. I found these for you to look at.

Not saying it matters, just a point of interest...besides, they aren't exactly a killer performer, they are just pretty good for the cost...

I really enjoyed the Star Specs that I ran on my S for a little while.

Star Spec isnt available in 19s, I love those tires too

Fair enough, just giving you a hard time. But I think they are damn good for the cost, and fine for about 95% of the general Z driving populace. They did outperform tires costing 40% or more, to me that's win win.

I picked up SAllen's TE37s with RE11s. After going around my favorite corners I noticed I made the RE11s squeal a lot where the RE050As were silent. Are RE11s just a lot more talkative than the stock tires or was I going faster and just didn't realize it? :P

It seemed to take a heck of a lot to make the stock tires talk on the track too for that matter.
