Tire shop trashed my rim

I noticed a screw in my driver front tire the other day, so I thought I would phone around to see who had the best machine to remove the tire for the repair. After talking with all the shops in town and expressing how concerned I am that the job is done right, I drop the wheel off at a local shop. When I come back to pick up my wheel I see they gouged the **** out of the rim where it meets the tire. Some are through the paint others are not. I can't believe what they did after the discussion we had earlier about how concerned I was. I also told them if they can't do it without damaging the rim then I will take it to someone who can. Anyway, they have sent the wheel off to have it repainted. If it isn't perfect I will not except it. I also want a warranty with it as well. Un freeken believable.

Shouldn't a dealership be able to handle the sport rims?

Pics? And I would tell them to pay for repairs to the rim.

That sucks, but at least they are manning up to it and fixing it for you. They very well could have said the wheel was like that when they got it and refused to fix it.

I went over the rim in detail with them when I dropped it off. It had one tiny rock chip other wise it looked new. When I picked it up the guy says we treated it like it was our own, what an idiot.

At least they are standing up for their work, still pretty crappy to see.
