18" or 19" or 20"

Okay... so i have been lookin for rims... but now i am stuck on size...
it would really be easy to pick if they had pix at the rim shops... but they dont...

So which size you think it looks well on 370z?

I originally thought 19" would be perfect!!!
I also like the square design'ish looking tires...

anyone got any suggestions or pix?!
btw... i am black cherry z... i will most likely get a gold rims...

or do u guys think gold rims would look bad on my car?

What wheels did you decide on?

18". Function > Form. Lighter weight wheels/tires means better acceleration and braking.

You get a wider selection on tire brands and sizes. They're cheaper too.

Agreed. Although, clearance on 18's, should you get a BBK, could be an issue.

Either way, I would not go 20.

20's fit just fine on the Z's and G's. 18's are too small unless you are buying track wheels.

19"s are the best of both worlds, they dont look out of place on the Z -Look to small/ Also you have a decent selection of tires.

Therefore, we should all compromise and settle on the argument that the OP should pick up a set of 19" wheels. :D

Edit: Dan up there beat me to it. :(

You seem to have a tough time deciding things for yourself. Just remember if you think it looks good on the car, go for it thats all that matters. Don't worry about what others think because its your car. But since you asked, I agree with the 19s. Which rims did you decide on?

Replacement tires for 19" are pricey. I am sticking to 18s

JayYoon 08-15-2010 03:42 PM

Thats what I was intentionally going for in the beginning... 19"... but 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 okay? or should i go 19x9.5 and 19x10.5?

And can i use the stock spare tires if i go with this setup?

As for rims... probably one of the xxrs... unless someone shows me some other interesting rims...
