Multiple layers of wax. The OP mentioned 30 layers of Zaino, but he was obviously (I think) exaggerating.

Those wheels are nice BTW, but I want to see finalized shots!

Jeffblue 08-10-2010 03:49 PM

oh haha, i didn't notice that. i thought you all were talkinga bout some photo editing thing. thanks

Waiz 08-10-2010 04:25 PM

Nice wheels, in for installed pics.

98intrigue 08-10-2010 06:23 PM

Wheels look good! Come layer mine, please :) In the 2 1/2 weeks I've owned the car, I've washed mine 3 times and just waxed it Sunday. Yours looks way deeper than mine though.

Thanx guys.. Even me myself cant wait to see the final outcome of the wheel looks like... Just sent my Z last Monday for Zaino at a car salon and expected to be done by Friday... Btw i was serious when i said 30 layers of Zaino... Ive seen pictures of people doing it until the 50th layer... Try googling it... Im doing this just to see if Zaino really is the big thing... So far... Im loving it...

abgyak 08-11-2010 05:23 AM

Love the Z's!

But that photo of the "50 layer" car looks just like any car with 1-2 layers of quality wax. Honestly, he was just rubbing off and replacing wax after the 4th layer or so, I don't care what Zaino says. If that car legitimately had 50 layers of wax on it, it would actually appear quite hazy/dull because wax has far from perfect optical clarity, and in such an amount it would start to affect the finish of the car.

In short, if you're needing to apply 50 layers of any wax to your car, you're probably doing something wrong.

I like what you did with the 260Z, that Z is totally under-appreciated in the community.

Snakebite202 08-18-2010 08:57 AM

OP - I love those wheels, but it looks like you need a drop and spacers. Maybe it's just me though.

wolf370z 08-18-2010 10:11 AM

Not my cup of tea (red car/silver wheels) but definitely looks great! Congrats!

BTW, nice classic Z's... I still am unable to find that one perfect 240z.
