They are good bang for the price, but they are nothing special.

370zproject 08-10-2010 11:52 AM

cossie1600 08-11-2010 06:12 PM

had 2 sets on my 350, hated them.

Ran the old RT-615's on my girlfriend's Evo...Best bang for the buck out there. And pretty good performance as well! The new RT-615k's are supposed to be stickier...looking forward to doing some testing on them soon!

chuckd05 08-11-2010 10:51 PM

Had them on my G35 Coupe, they were alright...

i love my nitto nt05s I have on now.. best tire for the money that I have purchased so far in 10 years of driving

I drove the Rt-615h (new compound) is definitely faster and nicer, but it is almost more expensive than RE11s. The old ones will last 12-15K miles, doesn't really work in the rain even when they are new. The only thing they have going for them is the price.

See if you can find a set of Kumho XS's that will fit (and if so let me know). GRM found that they outperformed the RT-615's on both dry and wet.

I had a set on my old car -- they were bubblegum sticky -- great tires.

615s are great for an inexpensive tire.
