They look great, so tempting.....
|
thanks man yeah i like them a lot and great service on their end.. forgot to add that im lowered on eibach pro kit
|
I'm considering the same route, except on hr springs. Did you have to buy a camber kit for the eibachs?
|
no, you can adjust the camber for the front and the rear from the factory enough.
|
Looks great! What type of lugs did you go with?
|
i have the rays duralumin 35mm lugs

im getting mine next month....im thinking about the matte black but im also considering the mag blue and the anthracite colors also....cant make up my mind!!!! i like all three colors but i have my personal reasons why i want them and why i dont want them...i dunno, ill have it figured out in a month....what color would you choose to slap on a platinum graphite color? i love how the car turned out. im getting the same specs n everything!:tiphat:
|

My choice on the PG in no specific order would be the polish, anthracite, and matte black. The wheels would pop a lot more with the first 2. With the 3rd they would be a lot more understated. Good luck! Photoshop it and see how you like each one! |
come on!!! you have 3 car garage...and you can't afford it?
|
these look veryyy similar to volk te37's............ some1 needs to get these replicas in GOLD.

From the looks of your Z (no spoiler for example) I'm assuming you don't have the sport package, right..?? I was wondering how did the 19x9.5" +22 fit the fronts and then I noticed... I want this exact setup but the fronts in +22 won't fit the factory Akebono's and I'm afraid +12 will be too aggressive... EDIT: Also, a couple of things.. I assume you lowered your Z..?? What did you use..?? Springs? Coils? What tire sizes are you using? Thanks.. hehe.. |
Looking good man.

I think I should have read the post I quoted from you, tire sizes were there.. Sorry about that.. hehe..
Did you get the camber kits for front and/or rear..?? |
^^^ I think one of our vendors who sells these these is including free 5mm spacers for us sport package owners
|
They look good on your car OP.
I'm glad that many of the 370z owners are very open minded and not bashing Varrstoen. |
Cant really bash them. It is what it is. As long as the owner just is up and up with/about it, no problems really. At least not in my opinion.
If the quality is good enough for the street and light track usage, then all the more power to these owners. For replicas, they do look pretty good though. Now just don't go sticking on "Volk" stickers on these and all. :p To the OP....cool set. For the cost....I would agree with you. Cant really go wrong, plus you said it as it was...replicas from the get go. I can respect that. |

When you buy Volk, you buy the quality and strength that comes from the forged monoblock design. Unfortunately not everyone can afford paying $3500+ for a set of wheels, and that's why these are a great alternative. You're basically paying for the look of the design. |

If vendors can keep the costs fair to the general public, then that would make everyone happy too. I do actually have TE-37's, but I dont have kids to worry about. So I can respect the OP's choice in getting these and taking care of more important priorities with the cash saved. Food always ranks up there for me. :icon17: Clean looking wheels for the price. Great alternative. |
thanks guys! yeah I loved the look of the Te's and I was originally going to get them but other things are more important. but like XLR said I would never try to say these are true volks because that pride should be held only by those who actually have them. i just like the look and found a great replica to suffice my want.

Photoshop it and see how you like each one yeah i like the anthracite color the most, but i just dont know if it will go with PG that well. im not really a black rim fan but it looks so good on PG....i dunno how to photo shop...i need somebody to photoshop a PG Z with the anthracite rims!!!! ;) |
if anyone is interested i have a set thatll be here this week that i need to get rid of.

Wheels look great in person. I was very impressed with the quality of the wheels.
|
These wheels look great! They are almost identical to the TE's and they offer great offsets for our cars. I dont understand why people bash these so much, I used to browse the BWM forums when I had an m3 and no one made fun of those that chose to run CSL replica wheels. I feel like in a sense this is the same thing... Not everyone requires $4500 worth of wheels and tires for a daily driver.

Do I need to buy separate longer studs for 5mm spacers? or can i simply put 5mm spacers on between the wheel and the base?
Thanks! |

Seriously. Can't quote this enough. I'm actually really surprised more hate hasn't ended up in this thread, haha. Also these look outstanding. I'd buy a set if I wasn't so in love with the stock rims. :) |
if i hadn't gotten the forgestar rims, i would have gotten this!@+!
