Default Screw in my tire!

Thanks to living in Florida with all of the construction around here, this is the 2nd screw I got in my rear passenger tire. The first one I pulled out a long time ago and it just punctured the outside tread. I spotted this one this morning. I don't know how long it has been in there but my car has been garaged for about 20 hours hasnt appeared to lose any air.

The problem is the tires are filled with nitrogen....so should I just take it the dealer (long drive). Can they fix it, and will it cost me?

I thought only the GT-R's tires were filled with nitrogen? The screw is located in place where it should be able to be patched from the inside.

They can fix it. But I don't know if they'll charge you. Call them and ask. If they say they'll charge you, then given that it's a long drive, you might be better off just calling some local tire shops to find one that has nitrogen and pay them to fix it. At least save the long drive.

OR, you can try yanking the thing out and slapping some of this into the hole!:

I'm just kidding. I wouldn't really recommend it.

Mine came with nitrogen as well. I think the dealers are putting it in (and attempting to charge an exorbitant fee for doing so).

Yeah dude, its part of their upgrade insurance, go talk to them, its only like $150 a year more. and any screw and they replace the tire for a new one.

its really the only thing i got, that and their we now cover more car parts insurance, because at $350 a tire, i would go broke in 6months.

tell you one thing, you got a screw in your tire

i got a screw thrown at 90mph at my windshield cracking it.

I can't find any place that has nitrogen. It looks like I'm going to the dealer. I just hope they don't charge me $100 to patch :P

???????????????? Just get the tyre (english spelling) repaired for free or for very little cost at the nearest tyre place and fill both rears with good old fashioned air. Nitrogen's a lot of bollox.

It's only a screw in a tyre ffs.

Nitrogen is way overrated. If the air is dry I don't see a real reason to use nitrogen.
