Enkei RPF1's

Hey guys. I've generally owned a set of these for almost every car I've driven.

I know some members have had trouble getting them to clear the sport package brakes, but was just wondering if anyone had experience with which sizes/offesets would work on a non-sport car.

Thanks in advance!

RCZ 07-27-2010 11:18 AM

I know theres a setup that does clear the sport brakes.

I take it the +35 setup is for a flush fitment?

Can you pm me price on these guys shipped to 20169?

I kinda want a set too :) in SBR...have to sell the stocks first tho...

LiquidZ 07-27-2010 01:42 PM

I have always wanted a set of these but would feel more comfortable seeing them on a car.

PM me when your ready to order a set :)

ZBW39 07-27-2010 01:53 PM

The RPF01 has 6 pairs of spoke. I think that's a set of PF01, IMO looks better than RPF01. I also want to get a set, but have to save up $$..

Haha, it's an easy mistake to make. I'm tempted by the PF01's...they look amazing on the Z.

looks more aggressive with the spokes curving out like that, either one looks great IMO

Red__Zed 07-28-2010 06:54 PM

Anyone know how a non-staggered set up like this would work?

MY350Z.COM Forums

I would love to be running 285's all around.

LateralG'z 07-29-2010 05:29 AM

Those are some nice rims, I want to see them in bronze

jpmotor 07-29-2010 11:45 AM

18x9 +35 is NOT flush....not even close

try +25 or lower

18x9.5 +18?

OMGWTFBBQ 07-29-2010 12:25 PM

Will those sizes clear the Akebonos in the front though?

18X9.5 +15 F

18X10.5 +15 R

Could I get away with running something like these fitments? I'm not sure how aggressive I can go in the front.

That's a really good setup for track. The fronts will be a little difficult to fit with wide tires though. Maybe 245 at most? Or 265 with a lot of camber.

We have a set in flat black 18x9.5 +15 18x10.5 +15 in stock right now. PM me if you're interested.

I'm interested, but concerned about fitment issues. You think I'd be smarter to snag something with a less aggressive offset?

SE 08-17-2010 05:46 PM

Depends on what tire you want to run up front and whether you'll be tracking your car. If you're tracking I'd suggest running a higher offset with a wider tire if your class allows it. If not then go for the 245 with +15 fronts.

I'll probably be slapping on some 18inch square setup wheels just to see what it looks like on the shop car at the end of the week.

Ah. I think I will wait to see how that turns out. I would really like to see how that works out.

SE 08-17-2010 06:18 PM

Sounds good.

cossie1600 08-17-2010 06:27 PM

My 9.5" wheel with 35 offset sticks past the fender slightly, it didn't rub with 265 race rubber.

Waiz 08-17-2010 08:45 PM

These are DannyGT's AME Tracer TM02's 19x9.5F 19x10.5R (+22 all around).

The design is very similar to RPF1's since they are made by the Enkei in Japan.

search for my posts in the wheel forum. I did try this wheel and it didn't work but it was over a year ago and I don't remember the specs. They are in my thread though. They may have new fitments since then also.

Have you tried rolling the front fenders? Maybe trimming the fender lining and relocating the bumper tab? Just a suggestion. ;)

I think I found the thread you are talking about. They were pretty high offset. I also have a non-sport model, so no worries on clearing the Akebonos for me.

It didn't rub when I autox last week, I have a set of 285 that i want to try out, I just don't want to waste money mounting and balancing tires unless I know it works.

Cossie you have +35 18" RPF1:s?

Did these clear akebono brakes in front? I am just wondering that there are different experiences about fitments with these wheels..

FuszNissan 05-07-2012 11:26 AM

18x9+35 will not clear the Akebono's maybe 18x10+35

I would really suggest 18x9.5, 18x10.5 + 15 all around.

Read T 01-06-2013 03:36 PM

Can anyone confirm that 18x10 + 35 will clear Akebonos? I want to run same wheels/tires on all corners for the track so I can rotate.

I run NT03 at +30 with no problem...I run a 15mm spacer on the rear. You can always add a spacer to get the clearance needed if the don't fit. Some run +15 square.
