I wouldn't mix no, as they could react different when driving hard.
Imagine your rear tires stick better and your front looses traction because you reached the limits... The can wear faster, just replace them with the same type as the fronts, then when all need to be replaced, you can switch to a different type Edit:Mustang, type slower.. I sound like your echo... :P
