Fed ex strikes again!!!!!!!!!

well well
i definitely called this one

i been waiting 4 months for my rims and tires to come in from vip status

Rick down at STATUS finally ships them

..1 week later i get MY RIMS!!!

...2 of them

WTF

i call fed ex they tell me those two are the only ones they have listed coming to me

i call Rick he says im not the only one
apparently two other guys only got half of their shipment in as well

Rick said the boxes are all strapped together but fed ex is so not careful with packeges they probably came apart and now they are lost in the system

Hey FED EX!!....:bs::shakes head::mad:....Fcuk YOU gimme my rims you Fcuks

XwChriswX 07-20-2010 05:10 PM

Did the tracking number you received have 4 boxes associated with it, or just the 2... they should be able to track down the other two if they are associated with your number...

Sorry to hear about that, way to go FedEx. :ugh2:

I'd be  too!

Jamaica 07-20-2010 05:15 PM

No worries bro. Call and file a claim. Make sure you have the shipping number of the wheels lost. Also have an invoice saying how much each wheel cost. ALso was there insurance? I work for FedEx so I know how it goes

6MT 07-20-2010 05:15 PM

I would have thought a story like this one would be about UPS (not Fed-Ex).

apparently rick gave one tracking number which corresponded to one of the wheels, the second wheel came with-its own tracking #
so logic dictates that each rim has its own tracking #

when i called fedex they said only two tracking Numbers( the ones that i got)were due to be shipped to me

so somewhere out there are two 20X11 MF rims and tires in which the tracking Numbers were never scanned and aren't in the system

God only knows were they are...

them sh!ts aren't exactly cheap

wishihadnav 07-20-2010 05:31 PM

damn..hope they turn up.

Then I would call the supplier who shipped them out as a whole order, they should have received the tracking number for each individual one... If not, thats a foul on them... :ugh:

JB-370z 07-20-2010 05:51 PM

Sorry to hear about this buddy hope you get everthing squard away quick

Soon 07-20-2010 06:17 PM

well i jus got to the bottom of this

I got a hold of Rick Down at Status

apparently FED EX ruffed the boxes up so much that the four rims that were all strapped together came loose(explaining y the Fed ex guy gave me two FZUKED up boxes with straps hanging off them) the additional rear rims got separated (and probably damaged) lost and were shipped back to Rick

so now i have to WAIT for Rick to get them, inspect them and hopefully ship them back to me.

Fzuking FED EX ....

That sucks, BUT.......

I used to be a Fed-EX driver, and let me tell you, You should more likely blame the punk-*** college kids inside the warehouse for this, rather than the driver. Most drivers don't even load their own trucks, the warehouse does.

Also, When I was a driver I noticed alot of companys shipped rims inside of boxes? This is a stupid Idea, same with shipping anything super heavy inside a box, the box completely falls apart! Rims don't need boxes, just pad the edges, plastic wrap it, and slap a sticker on it, DONE.

Hope you find your rims.

kevr6 07-20-2010 09:20 PM

When I got my wheels from Rick UPS damaged one of my wheels and I had to open up a claim. I eventually received a new wheel but it took another month. That's when VIP started using FedEx. UPS has screwed me in the past also!
I guess USPS is starting to look good!

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS put a Fedex/UPS label on all boxes in a shipment. It's not hard to do. :shakes head:

Mike 07-20-2010 09:43 PM

sounds like a problem with the shipper and inadequate packaging. I would blame them, not fedex.

:iagree:

Trying to save a few pennies by strapping items together is a FAIL

res0zsfa 07-20-2010 10:36 PM

Ups ftw

Soon 07-21-2010 09:40 AM

Well jus whn the updates were concluded

I get a call from fedex
They say that i signed for two tracking numbers
Each weighing 64 pounds each
And thats all that they show shipped to me
Period
This is complete bullsh!t
I paid good money for rims and i jus want my product
Idk whose fault it is but i shouldnt even be going through this
So know cant file a claim because according to fedex nothing is missing
Im still waiting for sTATUS to get back to me

Im confused and pissed as all hell

I'm sorry but that sounds like a really dumb idea.. why would they strap 4 big azz wheel boxes together. And why would they keep doing it after its happened to 2 people already.

VIP-STATUS 07-21-2010 02:22 PM

no one strap 4 box together, fedex or ups will not even take it like that.
by the time it gets picked up and go to fedex or ups warehouse.how many hands it pass by the time it gets to your house.no matter how good any one pack it.it it gets toss around.they get pretty bang up.
we try our best to over pack it.

I can vouch for Rick! He always shipped my parts in great packing and everything always arrived on time. Ricks packaging held up so well I re-used it when I sold my stock wheels!!! for Rick with his Great Customer Service and Pricing! FedEx needs to pay up with these wheels!

kenchan 07-21-2010 04:15 PM

UPS screwed me long time ago with my SSR wheelset. i got 3 and one was missing.

called UPS.. they connected to the local hub where it was last scanned. i explain and they said they will call back within the hr. 3hrs later i get a call...ends up the person loading the truck could not fit it so he just left it in the dock and forgot about it. UPS person was polite and asked me to pick it up otherwise would deliver next business day.... obviously i tell her im picking it up cause it was on a Friday afternoon. She agreed to let the clerk at the pickup counter know im coming.

i arrive and the clerk at the pickup counter has no frikken idea wat im talking about. 3 people go searching for my one wheel. no one can find it after waiting maybe another 30-45min... then i glance across the hall and some UPS kid is SITTING ON MY WHEEL eating a snack with his coworker. :icon14:

hope you find your wheels!

We never have luck with Fedex, ups for some reason even with their bad rep gets the wheels their quicker. I just dont understand why they make so much confusion, b/c to me if I see 4 equal sized boxes going to the same address I would use common sense.

i tell you I have been saying this all along, the world is getting dumber, and sadly one thing I fear is that from what I am seeing, people no longer have common sense.

FedEX is the worst. I've gotten so many of those "We missed you" post-its it's not even funny. The funniest part of that is, I've been home every single time. Waiting.

spearfish25 07-23-2010 11:40 AM

Fedex and UPS are both terrible. It always seems that I go through this "the shipment is missing but it's not our fault". Then it miraculously shows up at the shipper's location again.

It's strange to think, but USPS does a much better job.
