The car really needs to be dropped an inch.

I'll try to get some photos on a sunny day. I've never used chrome lips before and it amazing how dark the lips look when the sky is gray.

Thanks for your thoughts on the wheels.

Hey the wheels look good! A drop would be nice since for sure, it will help shrink the car around them a little.

It does sit in a bit. However, I considered what would happen with a 1" drop and use at the track with 265's/285's F/R. with the wheel turned and hitting a bump. In that situation I feel I will have less of a chance of the tire hitting the outside of the fender. If it's not a problem I can always add a spacer and longer studs. I mention this as I once watched a large black snake peel off the right front of my 968 in turn 2 at Mid-Ohio. First session of a 3 day weekend and one tire was toast. The tire in this case was sitting flush with the fender at rest in a straight line.

Thanks for bringing that point up as others may wish to consider other options based on their use.

I'll get a better photo of the front wheel in relation to the opening and post it.

just my opinion:

looks like it needs wider rear tires, the stretched look doesnt work for me (are those the stock tires on wider wheels?). And the offsets look like they should've been more aggressive.

The wheels are definately nice, though. Good color combination.

You are correct. The tires need to be wider and will be on the next set. I'm thinking 265/285. And the offsets were conservative. I can move them out a bit with longer studs and spacers. If I had pushed it to the limit on offset it would have been more of an issue trying to go back in. I've been down that path before.

Thanks for your comments.
