tpms warning at high speed and rain
does anyone else get the tpms light at super high speeds or when it is raining very hard out? i do. checked all tires and pressure is 39psi all around. tires also have nitrogen in them.
thoughts? |
define super high speed?
I do notice it when I accelerate over undulations - the front heavy nature of the car causes the rear to lighten up sometimes on load... this is normal and can be fixed by turning off the traction control (:p) When its raining if I am not pushing the car - I am yet to see the light kick in... |
I do believe you guys aren't talking about the same thing. OP, you said TPMS. Is that true or do you mean VDC? It's pretty odd that the Tire pressure monitors would go off for any reason other than low pressure.
If you are at 39psi cold, I'd recommend dropping that to 35. |
Sounds like the VDC logo lol

happens to me all the time, when im driving on the interstate my tpms goes off and on constantly, and when i check the tire pressure its always normal. must be a normal malfunction for some people

yeah , i'm talking about a light that looks like a cross-section of a tire...pretty sure it is for low pressure.
