OEM 18" Tire tread wear
I've posted to the Forum about things like wheel locks and spare tires. Spine tingling as they were, I thought I'd move up from my usual level of excitement, and talk about tire tread depth.
2010 370Z Roadster Stock 18" Bridgestone OEM's 4,750 miles Tire pressure kept at 38 PSI Some spirited driving, but mostly just driving around. Both front tires were, from the inner side out; 9/32, 9/32, 9/32, 6/32. Both rear tires were, from the inner side out; 9/32, 7/32, 7/32, 6/32. Looks like both front and rear are wearing a bit more on the outer sides, and maybe the rears could use a slight drop in air pressure. Don't know if that's Nissan's recommended "best handling/performance" camber, or if I need an alignment. Just though I'd pass this along so anyone who gives a s--t has something for comparison. . . |

I'm not worried, I expected to get around the 12K mark, but thanks for the heads up. As I said, just thought I'd post the findings to the Forum.
I am curious about the camber though. If that's what Nissan says is the best for the Z, then so be it. But if not, then I'll remember that when I buy some better tires. |
