Bridgestone RE-11 265/35/19 front Nitto NT05 275/35/19 rear Would like to go 285 in the rear but it would make the diameter front to rear 0.6" difference. I don't think I want to do that. |

The fact that the two tires are different brands would suggest they may have different traction/handling capabilities. One may stick better than another causing one end to break loose sooner than the other. The tires may have different rubber compound and with changing temperatures, one compound may behave differently than another (eg, one gets harder and less sticky at cold temps sooner or may behave differently if driving hard).
You could probably get used to the driving characteristics, but you wouldn't have to worry about any potential differences if it was the same model tire. |

Umm, stock tire sizes are very different front to rear anyways. 275's in the rear and 245's up front. Also as long as you get tires of similar performance it is fine. Would be bad to do all seasons up front with Extreme performance summer tires in the rear.
Running 265 extreme performance tires up front and 275 extreme performance tires in the rear will be more balanced than the stock 245/275 setup with max performance summer tires. |
