I agree with you on that one. I'm not a big fan of pin stripes in general though. The flat black looks pretty damn good.

I agree with that as well...KillerBees Z was actually the reason I got the pinstripe on that first set. Just didn't look as good on white as it did on yellow.

Still though, the gloss was too much for the pearl white IMO

I'm curious to hear about your experiences with Forgestar. I am hoping that a lot of the issues people had with them were caused by the high demand.

I will have to say this, I have seen ALOT of wheels in my day. Matte colors tend to look much better when they have something splitting them up from the tire. The forgestar just blends with the tire in matte, b/c its a solid wheel, no lip. When you had the gloss, had you not done the pinstripe I guarantee you would have stayed with that setup. The pinstripe on the matte wheels though, I promise would have looked WAY better. Matte is nice in the center when you have a lip, or a pinstripe to break it away from the tire, unless your going to run tire shine everyday of your life haha.

Its your car of course, but I have seen lots of wheels and I am just giving my 2 cents thats all. The car is going to look great, just be picky right now b/c you apparently have quite a wait, but it will be worth it.

see, I felt like I had to have tire shine MORE often with the gloss, cause it made the tires look dull and old. With the matte, if I don't do tire shine every week they just blend a little with the wheels and it doesn't look bad at all. Use tire shine and there is a nice contrast for shows.

2 different opinions on style

I dont knock it, I agree and I look at it like opinions are like underwear, everyone has em. I love your car, so definately didnt do wrong, its when the owner of the cars eyes go like this and he realizes uh oh, haha.

So, my vendor told me they spoke to Forgestar today. According to them, my wheels should (key word being "should") be here in 2-3 weeks. Anyone want to start taking bets?

^ Well thats good, i just purchased mine last night. The order went through first thing this morning. Piano 19x9 F 19x11 R. I allowed Forgestar to choose the offset, I asked for agressive fitment with a 1-1.5" drop. I plan on running RE-11's thinking 265/35 F 305/30 R, still deciding on coilovers. Have the base 18s not sure if the tmps will fit. Keep us posted im hoping Forgestar's manufacturing snafu is behind them

wow those are some nice wheels! The Gold and white theme would look really good. But black and white is subtle yet sporty too. Tough One...

Although i am horrible with photoshop, and the above was just done in paint.. I agree that it would have looked much better with the carbon caps and no pinstripe.
