Don't you have less contact patch if over inflated, hence, more uneven wear and poorer traction? That should lead to worse gas mileage, not better... To the OP, 35 psi

![]() To the OP, 35 psi cold is probably fine -- don't forget they will expand somewhat with heat as you drive.
