Default Another Factory fitted sheared lug nut saga

phoned local dealer, went up there, refused to honor it on warranty, wait for it "because I did not buy vehicle from them!"
Left and went to 'my dealer' sorted it with no issue as expected.

Thumbs down for Round Rock Nissan here in ATX - Thumbs up for South Point Nissan.

Could not believe first dealers attitude!

actually makes sense believe it or not. dealers don't care about working on cars defective from the factory but they sure as hell don't like working on cars screwed up by other dealers. I've had this same experience whether it was a good dealer or a crappy one. Logically makes complete sense to me.

Not to me, say I was out of state dude? Nissan USA agree, not good enough and all dealers should honor if a factory installed option regardless of purchase area.

I bought my Nismo from South Point Nissan. Dealt with Brian. great guy. Got him on my personal phone #. Anytime there is anything pop up, I dial him. I've had a good experience from South Point all around. Besides the fact of pushy sales managers ect. But thats to be expected everywhere you go

I went to San Marcos Nissan to get my trunk latch fixed. Only because South Point was on a 3 hour wait. They didn't have an issue fixing the trunk for me. Got done in no time.

What do you mean by "sheared"? I also got the locking lugs and on one of them, the whole face of the locking lug popped off. The only part left was the part around the thread post. Is that what you mean? If so, does that mean i have the 350z locking lugs? What is the correct part # for the 370z locking lugs?

Exactly it ^ heres the bulliten - easy to check but sounds the same.
http://www.the370z.com/images/servic.../NTB09-024.pdf

South Point looked after me no worries, I was more pissed as I booked at RR as it was 20 from my work and took time from work to visit them for appointment, they said 'sure we can take care of it on warranty' only to say "sorry we will charge you for that cause you did not buy from us" not the first time I had crap customer service from them, but they are close etc.
So I travelled the 20 miles to SP, service tech who greeted me (with out appointment) got right on it and was totally cool.
They all represent the brand, they should be able to claw back tech hours from Nissan regardless who actually did teh work initially, if I am in New Mexico and my Z has an issue I am not trailering my vehicle back to South Point and Nissan USA would not expect me to do so.
It just seemed a totally unresonable way of dealing with my issue.
