For those of you concerned about the weight. The rear combo only weighed in at 1 more lb. than the stock setup.

M.Bonanni 02-18-2009 12:03 PM

Very very very sexy!

JoeyD 02-18-2009 12:09 PM

This may very well be my setup. This would make my 4th set of Axis wheels.

Can I get a repeat buyer hook up?

RCZ 02-18-2009 12:16 PM

Nice photoshop lowering springs. I admit axis are looking better these days.

dlmartin81 02-18-2009 12:21 PM

what size tires are in that setup?

MaximumPwr 02-18-2009 12:24 PM

Woof! Looks great, but 20" in the front just look big on this car. Maybe a 20" in the back and a 19' in the front. That I want to see.

all day!!

axiswheels 02-18-2009 12:40 PM

the setup in the picture is 20x9 20x10. 243/35/20 275/30/20. We can go more aggressive in the back.

As for the 19" in the front. The caliper is so large on the sport model that a 19" is going to be hard to fit.

Please remember that the overall diameter is still the same as the 19"

M.Bonanni 02-18-2009 12:42 PM

20s are the way to go on this car for sure.

370z4Steve 02-18-2009 01:28 PM

what are the offsets?

axiswheels 02-18-2009 01:35 PM

+40 front +25 rear.

Cown3d 02-18-2009 01:41 PM

wow that looks great, and i never like wheels with no lip

DJcuetip 02-18-2009 01:43 PM

:)

axiswheels 02-18-2009 01:46 PM

marco time to drop your car!

DJcuetip 02-18-2009 02:13 PM

working on it!

JoeyD 02-18-2009 02:44 PM

Looking good. I think I'm going to be your east coast twin. What tires did you choose?

Edit: They are Kumho Exsta SPT I think. They are deff. Kumho and the only tire tirerack sells in the proper size is the SPT. Anyway my point is that these tires weigh in at 30lbs. There are few choices that weigh a little less...so there is potentially some weight saving over stock.

370z4Steve 02-18-2009 04:34 PM

what was used to drop the car or is that a photoshop?

JoeyD 02-18-2009 05:29 PM

^It's a photoshop. I got that from the horses mouth.

axiswheels 02-18-2009 06:03 PM

Yes the car is photoshoped to be lower. The tires that were used are tires that we just have laying around the shop. I am sure there are some much lighter options out there. This would def. actually be a lighter set up that stock.

Actually these are a bit taller, roughly 12mm on each, unless I'm doing the math wrong, anyway I've got to say they look great though. Are you guys still in SFS, I'm in La Mirada, love to come buy and take a look at them in person. I may be persuaded to buy a set, but then that would mean I'd have to get tires too. Anyone looking for 19' factory sport wheels?

axiswheels 02-21-2009 10:48 AM

Yea you can come over no problem. we would be more than happy to show you the new wheels in person

245/40/19 26.71 in 678.43 mm

245/35/19 26.75 in 679.45 mm

the difference is a tad over 1.02 mm

I think you'll get a better response if you post it here

semtex 03-13-2009 09:37 AM

Of all the wheels I've seen, I think I like these the best so far.

JoeyD 03-13-2009 09:46 AM

Yeah me too. And the price makes 'em that much more appealing.

theDreamer 03-13-2009 10:00 AM

They look good, not sure if I would go with them, co-worker thinks I should get them.

!xoible 03-13-2009 10:21 AM

damn does that mean i have to lose like 4 lbs? :D

semtex 03-13-2009 11:34 AM

^^ Just eat a big bowl of All-Bran. ;)

srr2449 04-01-2009 12:19 AM

I like these wheels a lot.. what would I need to do to get these? I just got a pearl white base model 370... i won't be racing but i love the look of a nice car and would add breaks eventually. i have zero knowledge of anything car related but I am pretty sure I want black rims and these would look nice. what tires would i get for these and would I have to do anything else to the vehicle?

JoeyD 04-01-2009 09:54 AM

They will bolt right up. Any tire will do as long as it fits the rim. Michellin PS2 come highly recomended. You can do stock tire widths or up-size to a wider one. Check out tirerack.com for tires they have great reviews and a knowledable sales staff. I recomend wheelstudio.com for the wheels...they can also help with tires.

srr2449 04-01-2009 04:45 PM

So if I was to order 4 of these angle matte black from wheelstudio how do i know which size is best.. they have 20x8, 20x9, 20x10.. remember i have ZERO knowledge.

370zmobbber 04-01-2009 04:52 PM

looks sick

JoeyD 04-01-2009 06:07 PM

they will know the sizes and offsets
