What ya'll think

I have a friend with these rims, like new. I gotta check fitment and everything but I think they will look good. I've had black rims on every car I have ever owned so I'm thinking of maybe changing the black spokes to the same blue color as my car. Input?
Any photoshops are welcome:)

The rims. They are staggered 18's....

those wheels are hideous... but to each their own...

Just because a wheel comes stock w/ the car does not mean its bad - your car has RAYS on it stock... I would not change them out for anything short in quality

actually the 18s are Enkei..

^^^agree.

OP, get the rims powder coated if you want them black or go for some Volk
TE37's. More expensive, but you can offset some of the cost by selling your stock rims. I'm sure someone can help you out if you do a search on the forum. Save up if you have to, but I wouldn't compromise on quality after spending so much on this car.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but the 18's aren't Rays, I thought they were Enkei.

Just saw the rims in person. I am NOT getting them. Thanks for the comments guys. Time for some Volks I guess, even though every 4 out of 5 people on here have them:/

There's a reason why people who swap out the factory wheels on their cars go with Volks, Vossens, Forgestars, Advans, Works or Venacis.

I say don't look like a tool just to be unique.
That's the wrong kind of attention.

OP Are you looking to Use Wheelsnext.com to Order your wheels, or is that just the only image you could find for them?

TreeSemdyZee 06-21-2010 09:08 PM

Please do not paint the wheels the same color as the car. It would look horrid at best.

Guys chill out on me, I have had plenty of fast and great looking cars. I was just given a great deal on these rims and the link that was given to me was that wheels next web site. I'm not getting the wheels but I'm also going to look for something other than Volks. If you have any other wheel opinions other than volk or avd. 1's please post it up. We need some choices around here:)

If you like that big thick spoke design, check out the Axis Hiro.
You can see a lot of wheels that the guys on here have picked out by surfing the random photos on the home page.
When I'm bored, I keep refreshing the page until something catches my eye.
SSR makes some cool wheels, too. I haven't seen those on anyone's Z here yet.
Also check out the ISS Forged Simplex-5 or Spia.
