Been looking around in the forum and it seems like a lot of people have them... Are they purely cosmetic or do they improve handling & ride of the car?

come on man you have to search a lil bit.
bringing your wheels farther out will improve your handling ever so slightly. prob nothing you will feel. so mostly they bring the wheels out so they are flush with the fender, or close to it. |

I tried the search option. All I got was "wheel spacers installed, new wheel spacers so forth"
