Is there anyway on repairing this myself without going to the professional? What annoy me is that I can't seem to take out the black out from it. Sorry about

wheel scratch
Is there anyway on repairing this myself without going to the professional? What annoy me is that I can't seem to take out the black out from it. Sorry about the crappy pictures.

The silver OEM wheels are painted. The black is what's underneath the "silver" paint. Unless Nissan has the wheel paint available a professional would do the color matching.
I scratched mine and just had them powder coated to resolve the issue.

Most silver wheels... (especially those called Hyper silver) have a base coat of black. The black coat is what gives the silver color its deep definition. It'll probably take a professional to fix that scratch...

Thanks for the inputs. I kinda knew that it was the paint underneath because it wouldn't come off. lol.
Well I'm going to save this problem til I get my wheel powder coated. Hopefully by the end of the year. |

I got a rock chip in my rim over the weekend(didnt know this even really happened?) And was alittle confused by the black underneath.. This cleared it up for me though!
