Urgent... Need to pick wheel color by monday morning!!!
 

Ok so I did a thread a while back involving wheel schemes. Well the wheels get PC'd on monday and my design has to be final. I have probed different people about different ideas. Well here is your chance to be apart of my 1000hp super car build! You guys get to help pick the color. I need your suggestions and comments on the designs I post. Feel free to be critical but just have an idea for another color design. Which ever design has the most votes by monday will most likely replace the current order.

So here are a few ideas:

Not really feeling any of them, but out of all of them I'd pick the first as well.

Well IMO, considering the nature of your build and the amount of attention the car will be commanding, I'd say you really have to do something that is LOUD and almost over the top.

I'd say black is already pretty played out since it's like the new "it" color and everyone and their mother has black rims. Now red and gold are good choices but still not too original anymore. If you go red or gold though, personally I think combine pic 1 and pic 2 so that it's one solid color for the spokes and the section with the rivets, instead of the part black and part red.

Now something pretty original might be something like the color you see on your red Alliance brakes. It's not really your standard red so it might look pretty sweet but it may be much with your color match hats and caliber behind it. Also, I think some sort of lime/takata/kawasaki green might be really cool!

For someone doing a 1000hp build and loving the track, you sure picked a strange company to go with. I just dont see anything sporty about that mesh, looks like it should be on a big SUV or something, hope their paying you to put those on.

why do you say that? the wheels are for exclusivity not out right 100% track performance.

Its just not a very sporty wheel thats all, I mean to each his own, just its WAY to blingy to me for a sports car. Sports cars should have wheels that dont look gawdy(probably spelled that wrong). Like I said though, to each his own, but I think this officially takes you out of the hardcore, amazing Z's in my eyes. I was hoping you were gonna keep it clean, excited for the motor still though.

As much as I hate to admit it and toss anything negative Mike's way, I have to say that I agree with this line of reasoning. In truth a super car build deserves a very aggressive overall look to fit the theme of power. And even more I hate to admit it that one of the best wheel companies out, as far as designs go, is ADV.1.

It may be too late, but I would speak with Paul of AE Performance and see what they can do for you on some ADV.1 wheels.

They don't do sponsorships. You have to dish out the serious money with those. No discounts, unless you got the connect. Trust me, many have tried.

You gotta pay to play. You can't skimp on the wheels because if the wheels don't compliment or setoff the car, you basically wasted your time with the rest of the car. The wheels have to be a calculated decision.

Yeah Jeremy I tried a ton of manufacturers and by far most want everyone to pay full price

I agree. The wheels are the most important aspect of any vehicle. They change the overall look drastically. If they are even the slightest bit off, the baby goes out with the bath water.

volk looking mag blue would be sick (fzero blue is a little to "hey look at my expensive wheels" for me)... either that or HOT F'N PINK... :D

I would have suggested it but thought it might clash with your BBK. Thats why i say maybe match the BBK color. That solid red looks good too though.
