offset help needed
 

I had some poking problems with my SF Winning so trying for a switch

Will these Volks below fit nicely on 370Z with sports brakes, as these currently are on G37s coupe.

Volks GT-30

20x9.5 front+35
20x10.5 rear +37

I am thinking needing 15mm spacer in the front and same for the rear

Will i have anything else to worry about before picking these up

you'd be wanting 15mm spacer in front and 25 in back for them to fit flush. I can't comment on how they would fit over the brakes, but I assume with the spacers they would be fine.

yeah thanks that what I thought...but there is guy running on 20" GT-30 with same offset for the fronts

it's quite possible the fronts fit with no spacer, I'm just not sure so I don't want to lead you the wrong way.

But for a flush fit, 15mm front and 25mm rear spacers would be just about right.

dont worry man...I know...actually i was thinking of same spacers but then today saw that white Z here...and frankly these offsets are better then my current poking ones :icon17:

oh, and reading comprehension FTL...if they are on a G37s right now, then they are over the same brakes we have on the Z and should be no problem :tup:

You dont need spacers with a 9.5 35mm wheel, the problem you might have is tire rub under extreme condition! Also the wheel will stick past your fender, just FYI

I dont know how it is in Dubai, I just wanna get that out of the way first. There are shops that can actually shave 5-7 mm off the inside of the wheel to make it a higher offset, which could potentially solve your poke. I use to have RE30's and would have done about anything to trade them for some SF winnings (my favorite mesh wheel). So if it were me SF winning>GT30. Anyway, good luck with whatever you choose to do.

Well, I've got 19x9 +24 in front (equivalent to 9.5 +30mm), and I feel I can easily go another 5-10mm's higher on the offset. I think if they were anymore tucked I would have already invested in spacers.

You are correct though, they are not necessary...however if you really like the flush look you will eventually get at least 10mm.

Not sure how spacers are going to help given mine already stuck out past the fender

I have 9.5 +17 with 3mm spacer and its way tooo out...Its tucked in with -ve camber around -2.0...its just I dont like the look of the car from the front...check the pics in members gallery thrad.

So when you said yours is tucked out its a bit confusing for me as I thought higher offset will tuck in the wheel??:confused:



Man I waited for the car and these SF Winning three months to get these shipped, but its just the fitment, I love the mesh had BBS before and colour combo looks sick as well but just the fitment

We are deprived of people for shaving and things like that here and couldn't risk it so anyways mine are sold to a friend already once GT-30 arrives will switch, im excited to move from 19 to 20 though:driving:
