Most Lightweight setup
I've been looking up specs for different wheels and the amount of wheel and tire combinations are overwhelming. I have found some lightweight wheels but with a twin turbo upgrade in the future should I sacrifice weight for width and traction. What would be the best balance for a good handling car that will be racing a couple of times a month. This will be a racing setup so comp tires are necessary.

Enkei RPF1s are one of the popular, light track wheels and pretty inexpensive to boot. Seems like SSRs are moving to a more botique marketing strategy once Tire Rack stopped selling them. They are quite expensive now. With a TT setup and tracking, I'd trade off a little weight for strength. I think the RPF1s are a solid choice all around though.

I run SSR Type-F 19's, 2pc. forged.
They are about 4.5 lbs. lighter per wheel than stock and .5" wider.

Just curious, but has anyone contemplated 17" wheels?
Yes, I realize that the overall diameter is going to probably wind up a bit smaller without an insanely high profile... eh, that'll just raise the final gear a bit. Too small? Would it even fit over the brakes?

18" is probably the smallest with stock BBK.

even if you found some that fit, chances are a 17" wouldn't allow the brakes to cool properly. same with the R35, comes with 20's, some teams run 19's but a few 18's fit but not recommended unless you have major body mods with brake cooling ducts like a FIA race car

CE28n's are the lightest and as light as TE37-superlap's in the same size/offset but much cheaper than the superlap TE's. but that superlap finish is about worth the extra $$$ imo.
