Go Volk, they are nicer, but the advan are lighter wheels also depends on the final setup that you setup on your Z

CEs are lighter than TEs - but the TEs are slightly stronger than the CEs

According to this http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...html#post59051 the spare tire is a 17" -- is that only for the base model, meaning the sport package Z's get the 18" spare?

Just wondering, because notwithstanding potential brake cooling issues (install ducts???), that would mean we could run 17's after all... I think... no? :confused:

you don't track a spare so brake cooling shouldn't be a big issue while the spare is on... that's something to consider

Oh, right -- I meant that I was musing over 17's either as track wheels or DD's.

The weird width value for the spares is odd though -- also, I'm wondering if the 17's are only for the base model, which would bring us back to 18's as the smallest wheel. especially for a track car that might have upgraded brakes if not the OEM BBK.

So base model cars could theoretically rock 17's for, say, autox, but might need brake ducts... actually, with small, light weight wheels, it might be okay with just upgraded pads and maybe fluid and lines...

Wonder if anyone has tried that...

Wait...I cannot find any CE28N for less than 3K.

So far, the TE37SL is the cheapest among those the four choices (TE37SL, TE37, CE28N, and RE30).

The new advan rz-df seem really lightweight also, and with some toyo r888's it should make for an awesome setup. I'm also replacing the stock brake pads with some carbotechs, and I might buy a big brake kit in a couple of months. Is the Motul brake fluid worth it? I'm trying to work on the handling aspect of the car first before i get started on the engine.

you want 1 piece forged 18s that should be around 20lbs or lighter. just search for offsets/widths that work.
