I have had absolutely no negative issues with these tires. My car is bone stock except for spacers and I did get wider rubber when I purchased the Hankooks. I have had them for about a month and so far, IMO they are great and are an exceptional value. I like them SO much better than the OEM Bridgestones. The RE050's did not provide the same traction as the V-12's, were ridiculously loud and didn't last but 16K miles. I would have spent well over $600 more to replace the OEM's with more RE050's and that simply was not going to happen.

I stopped worrying about some tire snobs opinions years ago. I have some acquantances with Bimmers that will run nothing but P-Zeros or Michelins. They sneer at any other manufacturer. I feel sorry for those guys and can't imagine the $$$ that they are spending on rubber. I ran Yoko S-drives on my Mazdaspeed Miata and could run circles around them most of the time. If I tracked my car I would probably feel differently, but I'm too old for that s*** anymore.

I am also having the exact same issue with these tires. Anything over 60 mph on my first balance was not acceptable amount of vibration. After a re-balance by a better tech it got smoother. However i still feel the vibrations to some extent over 70mph. I was worried that my new wheels were the cause. But with so many people having the same issue, I'm not convinced.

Anyone else? Maybe its a certain size, as it seems my fronts were the worst. 275/35/19F 305/30/19R.

So if you're the Stig, or running your car on the track every week then the V12s are not for you.

i have the V12's on my car, one size bigger in the rear and no problems, can't wait to put the fronts on in the spring. GREAT tire for the money.

I have 275/35's up front and have had no vibrations problems whatsoever.

I'm runnihg H&R spacers. I can't off the top of my head remember the designation for the type I have, but they required that I change out the lugs to correspondingly longer lugs so that the amount of lug protuding from the spacer is the same as stock. They are not the bolt on type. They are also hubcentric, which was very important to me. I am using 15mm in front and 20mm in back. I purchased them from Stillen.

The Discount Tire that mounted my tires last month was very hesitant to touch my car because of the spacers until they saw that they were first rate, hubcentric and used the longer lugs. I highly recommend the H&R's if you are looking at spacers.

no vibrations on my rear set of 305/30/19's. the soft rear side wall compliments the stiff nismo rear end quite nicely.

I took my brother on a ride, was only able to get up to 55ish with him in the car due to traffic. But he said he felt no vibrations, even held the steering wheel for a minute or so. Over 75 im still feeling something. Ill test it again with another passenger at higher speeds.

Technically it could just be the road i drive to work and back on.

You have your BS and I have mine. People who have run the tires I mentioned know exactly what they are paying for.

yeah a cheap(ish) tire i feel safe on that i can have a lil fun with from time to time.

a dedicated track tire or serious canyon carver..... no

Yeah, these tires are not made for the track or for any real "serious" driving. The sidewalls are very mushy, and they lose a lot of traction once you get the temps up a high amount.

I still like them for the money, and as long as I get track dedicated rims, I'll continue to get these for DD.
