9.5" wheels with 35mm offset, will it fit?
I just want to run this by you guys. Do 9.5" wheels with 35mm offset fit in the front with everything stock? The wheel currently sticks out by about .25 to .5" with the car jacked up (10.5" lip to lip). I just want to see if it will become a problem when I lower the car and put tires on it.
I am hoping to run 275/35 on it. What do you guys think? I have two set of rims waiting for tires before I mount them. http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/4940/dsc2888s.jpg Shot at 2010-05-21 http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/8751/dsc2889k.jpg Shot at 2010-05-21 http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/6344/dsc2891n.jpg Shot at 2010-05-21 |

Trust me you can go deep on our cars and his setup is pretty weak *no offense to OP* I am going to be running 20 x 10 +15 on 255's that will net me 3"~3.5" lip in just the fronts clearing my BBK!!! |
to OP... those are fine and will work. Honestly if I were you I wouldnt run 275 up front unless you are seriously tracking your car and already have a suspension setup.
|
Give me your stock 19s... :D

These are just my street rims to use up the OEM tires with, I keep the stockers for my RE11s. I am curious about these rims because I have a set of 18x9.5 race rims that I want to install 275/35/18 on all four. I can tell you they fit on stock suspension, I am just afraid it might rub the fender liner on hard corners or hard nose dives since it is a little past the fender than I would like. I have too many cars in the driveway right now, I will do more testing once I get rid of one.
I want to run 275 on all four so I can rotate them for the track, plus I found that to be the best setup by far. They probably look better than my 5zigen, some have even liked it more than stock. I honestly don't give a crap, I care more about the price and fitment. It's not a matter of looking fast, the car has to be fast. |
you need bigger wheels
|
18 or 19x10 is an extreme hard size to buy, plus running 275 is enough
|
you can rum more then 275. The max i have seenis 305
|
You could, but it doesn't mean it is beneficial.

very true. maybe for looks

If you plus 275/35 18 into the tire calculator at Tire Size Calculator - tire & wheel plus sizing along with the OEM wheels, it shows you're more than 3% off the original diameter and adding stress to your brakes that could ultimately result in brake failure. |
^^ how the hell did you end up with this thread in the first place?? lol :icon17:
