Default Steering wheel spacer?

Is there a spacer or some other way I could reposition the steering wheel about 1" further back? I either have long legs or short arms and would like to make the reach a little more comfortable if at all possible.

you would need to go aftermarket. they have different spacers and bolts for them.

this was my problem on my dd...Honda Fit. i had to go aftermarket (MOMO Champion)and loose my cruise control... oh well.

That is the flaw in the 370z,steering not adjustable for reach.

Most Nissans I've driven haven't had a telescoping feature so I'm used to it. Just move your seat back.

That's not the problem. He wants to shorten the distance from the steering wheel to his body.

That's the problem I have... I have longer legs so I have to put the seat all the way back, but then the reach is a little uncomfortable. I wish we had a telescoping wheel!

Amen! I have the same problem, most noticeable during longer trips. Would be nice if I could find a spacer/extension which would allow me to keep the stock steering wheel. Been looking, but all I am able to find are applications for aftermarket wheels. I dont want to sacrifice the airbag or controls.

That must be short arms, my seat is all the way to the back and I have plenty of flexibility to reach the steering wheel.

Yeah 6'1" seat all the way back. I find myself just grabbing the bottom end of the steering wheel on longer trips.

Im 6' 3 and need the seat all the way back. I have very long arms and found myself reaching pretty far out for the wheel aswell. First time I sat in a 370 I tried to find a way to telescope but obviously didn't find it. Guess Ill have to deal with it until I go aftermarket down the road. Maybe I can wear thin soled shoes and scoot up a bit for more arm comfort haha

I have wished for this on every car I have ever owned, I like to stretch my legs, but not my arms.
