Well they already did and they powdercoated on a flat gay as grey. Now I have to powdercoat them again. to either black or the same color as the caliper.

I went to the dealer today...he looked at my wheels and checked all of them.. only one was peeling ..which I think was a sign I did not use abrasive cleaners,.,.and he agreed to replace them..

Here are the spots on my rims. After about 2 months of going back and forth, Nissan finally agreed to replace them. This one looked pretty bad...

That's what I am talking about. Mine weren't thst bad but that's exactly I started to see on my rims. That's a clean picture. Glad they will replaced them. And glad I'm not the ony one that started the thread to help the cause.

first pict almost looks like wrong type of cleaner used and dried in the sun.
all i use is car shampoo if washing, or if just removing brake dust, i spray QD into my soft MF towel and gently wipe off the dust. i dont use any harsh chemicals. most detailer places use fancy detergents and cleaners that do more harm than good, imho. |

I have the same problem with my back passenger side rim. I have had my car for two years, I've noticed it a month into owning the car. I Told the dealer where I bought the car from about it , he said there was nothing they can do about it. So now i'm driving around with black spots on my rim.

Nissan powder coated the wheels with a dull grey for free. I didn't like it an a year later I powder coat them again with that Dark Metallic color which I like now. I only paid $500.
