285 rear tires on SP wheels?

I can't speak for the Nismo, but your car will understeer even more than now if you put 285s in the back and keep 245s in the front. I have 265 in front and 285 in the rear, the car still understeers a little bit.

Ok, but what is your motivation for going with wider tires? I'm primarily
interested in straight away speed and I'm looking for an upgrade to
increase traction to the rear tires (i.e. better launch).

lateral grip, I use my car for autox and track days mostly. I have done 3 autox so far, track day starts in July for me
