You get what you paid for, you can probably try Kumho AST or something.

Those are ok on an Altima (hard and prone to vibration when cold) but I wouldn't put them on the Z.

Look at Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. It's a high performance all season Z rated tire. I have them and I don't have any complaints.

General Exclaim UHP
Quote:
You may want to give the General Exclaim UHP a look. 275/30/19 for $171 and 245/35/19 for $148 on Tire Rack. General has been around forever and they make bullet proof tires.

There was actually a recent article in either Road and Track or Car and Driver where they tested bigger wheels (I'm assuming the results would be similar for tires) and found that the bigger the wheels, the slower the acceleration due to the extra weight.

That is true for straight line acceleration, which is why drag cars put tiny wheels on the front. However for cornering wider is better (but not bigger diameter), assuming you don't exceed the tire size recommended for the rim.

Alright, I just ordered my tires... I've been doing research and I went with Nitto's Invo's 255/35/19 front and 285/35/19. I saw the 305 and was blown away how aggressive it was. I realize my 370z deserves the best, but damn... That was a little too extreme!
Thanks for all the great info guys... I will post pics this Friday when I get them installed... |

What is the biggest and most aggressive you can go with 19x10.5 in the rear and 19x9.5 in the front with 20mm spacer? The tires on my extra set of wheels are balding, so I would like to get some nice beefy tires that will make the car very aggressive, but just big enough to not look ridiculous lol. Any advice anyone? Tires sizes is one thing I am not good at!
