There is a thing called heat cycling. When a tire heat cycles too much. It will loose grip, and become hard. You won't get this on street tires, but will on track tires. Kind this in mind.

Since the Z has such big wheel wells, I want to fill them up. Any opinions on these 2 setups?
Front - 20x10 +30 with 275/35 tire
Rear - 20x11 +15 with 305/30 tire
Or
F - 19x10 +25 with 265/35 tire
R - 19x11 +10 with 305/30 tire
Will any of these work? Haven't seem too many people running 10/11 stagger

Default 18x9 +25

Was looking at a set of cosmis xt 005Rs warped in 245s in the front and 275s in the rear. I have the nismo BBK as well, but I’m running 15mms spacers in the front and 25mm in the rear. I’m not to worried about how it looks I just want to be able to get some cheaper tires to track.

Default 18x10 +40 square

So I know for a fact this will fit, my main question is would it matter if the tire size was 255/35/18 square, the over height is 25.03 iirc my current setup is 26.6 (275/40/18). Will any lights pop on the dash with such a small tire? Only asking because a set of Volk ze40s popped up for a great deal but the owner refuses to separate tire from wheel. Tires are brand new so if I can run it for a little I will.

Long as you stay within 3% front to rear. You're ok.

I think the base rear tires are 245s so running 255 square isnt THAT bad.

Default Aodhan Ds02

Hey Guys,

I wanted to get some recommendations on a wheel set up. I was looking adohan ds02 with a spec of 19x11 +15 all around. For the rears, I was thinking to go with a 285/35. I’m just not sure what tire size to go with in the front. I was thinking 255/35 or 265/35. I just don’t want to rub like crazy in the front since I am lowered on H&R springs. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

17 NISMO :: stock suspension at the moment but will most likely be going swifts and koni yellows

having trouble finding forged monoblocks in the sizing I want.
looking for lightweight wheels so I do not hinder performance with heavy wheels.
hard to find 19x9.5 & 19x10.5 sizing in many wheels I find online.

However I have found SSR GTF01's in that size. Thoughts? Offsets on both are +22
Stock nismo offsets are +40F & +23R

Will these wheels poke out more?

Need some help in pointing me in the right direction.

Also, if I did go with these wheels... recommendations on tire size?
Looking for best performance setup.

Should I keep the 245's in the front and 285's out back? or go wider?

FYI I have used the search function, but not much out there for 15+ nismos.

Check out ForgeLine wheels. They will make the rims to your spec's.

so many options... so many widths and variations...

I just want to be as flush, clean, and performance centric as possible.

Might just take it to a tuning shop and be like.... here.... make it look right
