the 285/35's are 26.9" tall & may cause your traction light to go on and off.
I personally like the tread width on the tire to be the same as the overall rim width;in your case,,,a 9.5 wheel is 10.5" wide & 10.5 wheel is 11.5" (that's Lip to Lip)
Michelin has a much larger selection with the PSS tire....but width's change with manufacturer-weren't sure if you were a fan of the stretched look or the fat/slight bulge or straight up & down.? something to think about.
Rear camber will play a huge roll in sticking out or not.

I would like my setup to be flush to the fenders.

These tires will fit on the sport wheels 19x9 & 19x10 wheels good and full/ notice how they are a tad stretched on these wheels: especially the front.

Pick your poison-Pirelli & Michelin have multiple dimensions of each of these tires.
Watch for how many /32" and traction temp. AA A (compound needs to be the same on front rear)
also where the tires are made,,,,that seems to make a difference in the actual size.
Bridgestone
Hankook
Yokohama
Lot's of other's offer only 1-2 dimensions of tire.
Good-Luck!
Well, this is what Front: 20x9.5 +45 with 255/40/20s and
Rear: 20x10.5 +25 with 295/35/20s look like on a 2010 Roadster (stock setup).

So I have 19x9.5+25 wheels up front, 19x10.5 +12 in the rear and am lowered on swifts. I am thinking of going 265/35 up front and 305/30 n the rears. I am pretty sure the rear will be fine but am wondering if the fronts will rub?

Not doubting you about stock set-up,,,just haven't seen another ~Z~ come with 28" tall tires from factory.
Appears that they fit though;any particular brand or model tire you like? also were you gonna lower your car any?

These will fit your rims well; the front's are 1/10" taller though-I see a 255/35 Ferrari front that's 27" but would not pull up together on tire rack- may be a special tire.
