Does anybody know what is the meatiest (widest) tire that I can put on the stock base wheels without modifying anything? I've been searching in a lot of threads but all I found were dimensions of tires for the 19'' rays. Is there any information about the 18'' stock wheels?

Front Wheel is 18x8 and an 8" wide wheel can generally take up to about 245-255 width tire. Rear Wheel is an 18x9 and a 9" and you can run a 265-275. Doing some quick research it seems you have a better tire selection in the 245/45r18 sizes for the front (most notably the Bridgestone RE-11). For the rear I'd recommend the 275/40r18 for two reasons: first and most important it will match the diameter of the 245/45r18 tire. second, the RE-11 is available in that size. I estimate this the widest grippiest tire setup that you can run on the OEM 18s. For clarity: 245/45r18 Front & 275/40r18 Rear and I would recommend the Bridgestone RE-11s |

305/30r19 Rear Various guys on here running it. Would look like this Edit: that photo is actually of 275/35r19s on the front. So like FPEnvy mentioned below 275 is the widest for the front. Last edited by AntiVenom; 06-10-2015 at 02:15 PM. |

i love the aggressive look and most people with a Z goes performance. although i love love to see a well stanced Z.
What is the widest size of wheels that can be put on the 370z sport breaks, without having to make any modifications to the body? i am considering front 19x11+5 rear 19x13+0. would that be alright? or body work will be needed? |

I run 20 x 10.5's on all four corners and haven't seen anything wider on the front unless it's wide body, but I'm sure someone will chime in on this.

305s are out back! . I think it was Vince1 that had done 285 up front on Nismo wheels. I don't think we can safely stuff 305 up front, that's freaking insane! lol
