I don't want all seasons since I have snow tires. I want an aggressive look. I'll also look into the Michelin pilot ss and the hankooks. I know I also want less profile because the stock tires make the 19" rays look like 18s.

the difference in diameter is .2" less with the 305's

I don't feel like it takes away from the 19s at all.

I was just reading how important overall tire diameter is... and the amateur i am ..forgot to mention that i will not be replacing the front Bridgestone Potenza RE050A

and only replacing the rear for now. As far as tire choice, and I now limited as far as what I can put in the rear? Can I still replace the rears with 305/30/19's??

I'm thinking about upgrading to 20inch rims on my 2009 370z with the Sports Package.

Right now I am looking for any deep dish 5 spoke rims that I can paint gold.
Any suggestions on what type? I'm thinking about Work Gnosis.

As for the fitment issue. I am looking to get 20x9 in the front and 20x11 for the rear. I don't know what sized tire for the front but I definitely would like 305's for the rear. This is stock suspension, no camber or lowering and I would like it close to the fender as possible without scrubbing or rolling. I can't figure out a good offset.

Well if you go 20 on stock, It will look like a 4x4.
Soooo Springs or coilovers .ull also need camber adjustment

I dont know much about offsets, So cant help you there

Im bombarding you with question sorry man

easiest and quickest way is just use tireack as your bible. they have every spec for these tires including overall diameter.

245/40/19 is 26.9" OD and the 305 rears are 26.3" OD so you're fine in that area.

now I will say 2 things on these setup you're going with.

1. a 60mm difference between front and rear widths may throw you some extra under steer. I'm at a 40mm difference and from what I've gathered and have been told it's about the top of the limit before introducing a little extra understeer. some may not notice it based on not driving their car very hard others who do will. not knowing what your plans are with the car that is up to you. this is why I went with a 265/305 set up. stock specs on sport package is a 30mm difference and nismo it's a 40mm difference.

2. It may be my OCD but I could/would never run different front and rear tires especially if one is a much higher performance rated tire vs the other. just could lead to issues if driving hard and whatnot. in a moment of desperation when my rears almost were on the verge of blowout due to inside wear I threw 2 new rears on to get me through 2 weeks until I put the car away for the winter.

i'd suggest going with 4 new matching tires and possibly bumpin up your front width. but I don't know you situation nor driving aspirations so it's ultimately up to you in the end.

in closing your current path of 245/40/19 RE050A's and 305/30/19 rears should do fine regardless of my above suggestions.

This was very informative thank you. My intentions are just to get me through this summer as a daily driver and not tracking it. I'm trying to use up and not break the bank all at once. Then switch up the fronts tires next summer

I may not be an expert but I've learned a little bit lol

I would say next tire change opt for 4 matching tires to consistent and predictable performance. especially go with that if you intend to push the car on a track, back road, etc...

you'll probably want some 10-15mm spacers for the rear, but otherwise you will be fine with those offsets.

It will definitely fit. Pretty conservative so you shouldn't have any issues.
