+15 on the rear -On stock suspension will fit fine. -Will fine lowered even with moderate camber settings If they are track tires i would advise going with a 275/40 square setup. RE11s are available in this size, and they maintain the stock diameter pretty closely. I dunno what the hardcore track guys are running on their 18s but you can probably get some ideas in the track section of the forum, if you are looking for hardcore 18" setup. New set up. CSL 5.0 Rims. No rub and sitting on swift springs with stock tires.
19X9 30 ET (20 ET w/ 10mm spacer) 19x10.5 20 ET (0 ET w/ 20mm spacers) Since the new rims are .5" wider then stock with stock tires theres a subtle stretch. The 0 ET in the rear aggressive so theres some poke. Id say 0-3mm worth of poke where the tire meets rim. The top of the tire sits just within the fender. I am running within stock alignment specs too. No crazy camber or anything. I'll post pictures later. I am VERY happy with the set up. |

Alright...
I have been painstakingly working my way through threads, doing research, etc. I am 99% the setup will work, but would love to get some input from the forum. Wheels - Forgestar F14s 20x9.5" +20 20x11" +20 Michelin PSPs 265/35r20 which is 27.3" diameter 305/30r20 which is 27.2" diameter Looking at Jay_D's car for inspiration he is running 315/30r20 in the rear with this same offset. As noted above the plan is to run 305/30r's Michelin PSPs which as I understand it run a bit narrower than other 305s. Also the diameter should fit as it is slightly smaller than Jay_Ds. So the concern isn't about rear fitment. My concern is whether or not I will be able to stuff that 27.3" in the front without rubbing. I would like to run around 2* camber in the front. The ride height can be dialed in since I will be on HKS coils. Thoughts? Thanks! Last edited by AntiVenom; 04-15-2015 at 08:23 AM. |

Guys run way wider tires up front,so I don't think inner rubbing is an issue, your just wondering about that extra 1/2" in height. I think you'll be ok man.

You are spot on, it's that extra diameter that worries me. The concern being, rubbing the fender liner either over bumps or in sharp low-speed turns (i.e. parking lots and around town). I am comfortable with the inner clearance, and I feel the offset is conservative enough to clear the fender at 2* of camber. However, the interesting thing, and the reason I posted in this thread, is that most guys seem to opt for a super low profile in the front (either skinny 35profile or wider 30profile). Even when their ride height hasn't been lowered all that much. Something like a 275/30r20 leaves you with virtually no sidewall. Which made me ask the question: Why would you opt for a ultra low profile tire? To my mind there are only one reason to go that low profile... fitment. At least, that's what got me paranoid and posting here. Anyway... if I don't get anyone with a similar setup I will probably just bite the bullet and do it. Had Les shwab mount my new tires yesterday. I had the 275/35s moved to the front with 325/30s on the back. Michelin Pilot Super Sports all around. I had the spacers removed so there is now rubbing, they fit very nicely. Will post pictures in a few days.
I do feel a lot of tramlining but just getting use to new feel. All that rubber corners and jumps from starts like a dream. Look so sweet. Is there a break in period to tire feel? Driving 400 miles tomorrow, wonder about how feel will be on freeway. |

About to pull the trigger on new wheels and tires for the Z. Main concern is will these be able to clear the sport brakes? Car is at stock ride height with no plans to lower in the future(so far) and no spacers currently(not a deal breaker if required to make them fit properly).
TSW Sochi Front: 19x9 +30 Tires: 255/40/19 Rear: 19x10.5 +27 Tires: 285/35/19 Going with Yokohama Advan Sport A/S for the sake of not wanting to deal with tire swaps before the winter. Any input is greatly appreciated. Last edited by ferburg; 04-16-2015 at 04:57 PM. |

Love to get your input - I have 19 rays and stock suspension - running 20mm spacers up front and 25mm rear. Wondering if I can clear 305 30 19s in the rear with the 25mm spacers? Love the wheels pushed out to flush - don't want to downsize the spacers - but sure don't want any rubbing either
here's the set up on stock 275s right now... Might just go 285 35 19s in rear to be safe?

^You're going to be fine with the 305s. I'm on that set up except 20mm all around and still has some room for 25mm if I ever get off my lazy *** to swap to the 25s.

I did not learn enough about wheel specs before I ordered a set but you live and you learn.
Can you guys tell me if these specs on deep dish wheels can possibly fit the 370z looking flush slammed or dropped? I will be on air too, soon... 19x9.5 +10 19x11 -2 |
