Slow days at work lead to productive days on Z stuff. Personally i'm running 10.5x20et6 in the rear and 9x20et20 in the front. Lowered on kwv3 down 1.7 inches rear 2 inches front. Pics upon my new lugs getting here Friday... |

Would I be able to run a 265 or 275 size tire on the front with a 19x9.5 +20 wheel?
I am lowered on coilovers. Roughly how much camber would be needed in comparison to sticking with a 255?

Tires are small for those rim widths.

It surprises me that you're so pleased with 305's on 10" rays. I have 305's on mine and hate it. They make the rear end sloppy. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone... I can't wait to have an extra $500 for some 285's. Or better yet $1700 for some new Forgestars that are wider and keep 305's. IMO 305's need an 11" wheel. Are you drag stripping your Z or road coarse driving it? That may be the difference...?

if your rear end was sloppy with them i would suggest a trip to the mechanic. i dont think the issue is with your tires. however, i will say that any rear end "sloppiness" could be from improper sizing of your front tires. what combo are you running? or were running? EDIT: i see your sig says 265/305s now. if you look i do believe the S-04's run a bit different. there may be your problem. the RE-11s ive had are nothing short of awesome. upon purchase i was mad because there were no PSS's available. now i'm happy i got the RE-11s in these sizes

305's on my stock 10.5's are too wide they stick out from the rim and 245 on 9.5 rim is stock on the nismo's... just saying. i don't think add half an inch would make it god awful and yes stance for show not for track usage. thats what the stock wheels are for and unlimited access to an alignment machine

A 275/35-19 PSS on a 19x9.5 is about perfect.

Yup, I have SO-4s, 265 up front and 305 rear and there is nothing ugly about them. The fit is spot on and I should have gone with 275s up front. Some bulge is fine as it protects the rim from those unfortunate encounters with curbs.

i run pilot super sports on the stock wheels 245 up front and 305 rear and the rear has significant "bulging" it passes the rim more then enough for protection if anything it make me dread when i have to replace them since i do my own tires :/ but for wheels i have thought about 255 and keeping 305 just to keep tire on the ground and with the added width it would fit fine at least in my opinion and what i've seen so far im not trying to go and do stupid stretch where you can see the wheel and the bead of the tire just barely hanging on because that honestly scares me lol if i were to do that i would not daily my car and right now i dont have a choice since its my daily, need to find a cheap car to daily some day lol

The other question to this is, "who makes a good 22" tire?"

My plan is to have a functional setup with
255/35 or 265/35 front 295/30 or 305/30 rear Should I run 19x10 -2 / 19x11 0 Or 19x9.5 +17 19x11 +10 Don't mind rolling the front fenders But camber ideal is in spec 2015 nismo 370z gonna be lowered on stance/swift and spl camber arms. Looking to close the gap, either on top of the tire or 1 finger gap. |
