Ok, here's another one... Front 20x10 offset 25 with 275/30/20 Rear 20x10.5 offset 22 with 285/30/20 Thoughts?

Front

20x10 offset 25 with 275/30/20

Rear

20x10.5 offset 22 with 285/30/20

Thoughts?

Wondering if I can get your input -

My current set up is -

Stock Sport Rays 19x 9/10
Stock suspension
Stock camber
20mm spacers up front and 25mm rear

I have a steep driveway and can't pull off swift springs - but would love to close off the wheel gap some when I go to new tires.





I was thinking of going with taller tires to help close the gap - and maybe a slight rake (but want to ensure the ABS and VDC are not thown off by the spread)

Stock is
245 40 19 26.7"
275 35 19 26.6"

Some options I'm considering are

Front
255 40 19 27.1"

Rear
295 35 19 27.1"
275 40 19 27.7"
285 40 19 28.0"

Fall back for the rear would be
285 35 19 26.9"

Love your thoughts - need to be sure they will clear with the 20/25 spacers and don't want to throw any codes on the ABS/VDC

^ Anyone know how much differential in front to rear circumference that our ABS and VDC can tolerate?

20/25 brings it to close to flush

Short answer is no

Sport wheels are 19 x 9 fronts and +47mm offset so net of 20mm spacers is +27

Rears are 19 x 10 with +30mm offset so net of 25mm spacers is +5

You can manage your offsets in aftermarket wheels and reduce or eliminate spacers to get flush If you go wider (say 10.5 rears) that 12.5mm of addition width over oem sport rays so that will change your effective offset accordingly


ps - still looking for help from someone on how much front to rear height differential that the ABS and VDC can take when staggering heights

So,

19x9.5 +33 = 20mm outward than current sport wheels

19x10.5 +11 = 25mm outward than current sport wheels

Why is this not advised? Wouldn't this be the equivalent to adding 20mm front and 25mm rear spacer to sport wheels in the sense of being flush on the outer side of the wheels towards fenders?


Also, from what I have read on the forum, you should keep the front and rear overall diameter below 1.0% difference to be safe. Around 0.5% would be best. To check yourself compare the front and rear sizes of the stock sport wheels and tires as well as the Nismo Stock wheels and tires. The Sport wheels and tires come out to 0.52% Difference and the Nismo Wheels and tires come out to 0.51%. Here is a Link - http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php...et2=23#content

Hello guys i have varrstoen es1 rim 19x9.5 front offset 12 and 19x11 offset 15 and was wondering if the size tire 245/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rear would fit into the rim with out being stretched or will it have to be stretched no matter what?? Pls help guys

245 on an 9.5" rim will be stretched, along with the 275 on an 11" rim. Some hate the look some don't mind. If you don't want the stretched look you'll need to go wider. Also are you lowered or going to be, if so how low. If your going lower than springs you will have to stretch the front, you should be able to go wider in the rear if you want.

Yupp i will be lowered, and was planning to have it a bit lower than the spring as well!! I like the stretch look but i would like it to the point where its a bit stretched but still able to drive without issue!! So what tire size would you recommend if i didnt want the stretch look?

Lowered on coils with a 9.5+12 I'd run a 245/40 up front, with an 11+15 I'd go 285/35 out back. You'll have some stretch but nothing crazy, all depends on how low you go, how much camber you want and if you want the meaty look or stretched.

Ok here's another one!

19x9.5 0 offset (fronts)

19x10.5 0 offset (rears)

Stock tires and not lowered
But planning on lowering on coilovers right after

Thoughts?
