Hmm, maybe not a fan favorite.. But they look like they will fit, yes? I need to find something pretty soon or get in my beater because the car is starting to slide around out there.
I may replace the Ray's some day, but for now I need some cheaper 18's that can't really be wider than 8.5", a limited selection indeed. It'd probably be better to go with 8" but those are even harder to find. I could always get the base 18" front rims, that are 8" wide and put them on all fours but I still think I'd like something unique, even if they are winter wheels. I will tell you right now that I own an '83 Z as well... So maybe you can see some of that retroness (gaudiness?) coming out in my style choices. |

if you haven't already, check out the selection at tirerack.com. you can input the Z's specs, including that you have the sports package, and it will only show you wheels that will fit.

Hi Drex, I have done that before and unfortunately when you enter the sports package model into tirerack.com it assumes you do not want a wheel smaller than the default size of 19".
It also assumes that I want a staggered setup when I want a square setup (but most likely with different offsets). It really throws a spanner into the whole process. |

try searching specifically for winter wheels/tires. it will then give you 18" options. This is how I purchased mine.
Try this link: http://www.tirerack.com/snow/changeo...amefrom=wtpack

Offsets are going to be the determining factor, but with swifts and those tire sizes you can run pretty much anything.

I know this is a Z site but maybe you guys can help with the G
10.5 +23 wheel mounting 275/35/19 (currently at 265/35/19) with brackets cut and fender liner trimmed. I'm grabbing some RE11s within the next week or two (whenever my car gets out of the shop).

Will it fit on front wheels 19x9.5 + 20 without having to modify the fenders or wheel liner plastic? I'm lowered on swifts.

So 265/35/19 and 285/35/19 with stock wheel offsets, 25/30mm spacers and lowered on swift springs fits.

I have 19x9.5 +25 with 275/35-19 PSS. Stock height Nismo. No rubs.

That's a pretty good reference with the Nismo height. I'm thinking it should be okay with no rubbing.

I'm running 19x9.5+20--255/35/19 up front and 19x10.5+0--295/30/19 lowered on swifts and I have no problems, tires are MPSS. There is enough room that i'll be getting coils soon and go about a 1/4" lower in the front and about 1" lower in the rear.

Didn't see this thread earlier, but I made a new one...
Anyways: I'm looking at getting Varrstoen ES1's, but I don't want to get 19's. What do you guys think about getting a square set up of 18x10.5+30 in the front, and 18x10.5+15 in the back? Also, I am lowered on Eibach pro's, about an inch drop. The other option is 18x10.5+22 on the front or back. Thanks for the help! |
