I think 255/275 is the max. Not 100%. I am running 245/265.

Completely stock sport package.

I want to fit. 255/45/19. 285/40/19. Will this be with no issue ?

I want more tires all around and want the fat tire look .

255/45/18 and 275/40/18 is what i ran on mine. I work in a tire shop so I read all of Michelin and Bridgestones tire size/width recommendations. Worked out great now that i bought my new wheels and was able to transfer the tires straight over. (Stayed with 18's. 9.5" in front and 10.5" in the rears.) I may go to a 295/35 after i finish this set though.

Bad idea! thats a super tall tire for the 19's and if you ever lower it, you will rub like crazy on the liners. Even at stock height, im sure you will rub. A 255/40/19 and 285/35/19 would be recommended for you. Its still a taller sidewall then stock though but shouldnt cause issues. Either way 10mm wider won't make the tire look too much wider if even noticeable at all. Wheel widths themselves help give you a wider look or if you go atleast a 275 in front and a 295 in the rear.

I haven't been able to find this, so here goes...for multiple reasons I have to stay with the base 18" wheels and want as much rubber under the car as possible and don't want to have to fool with spacers. I'd like to install a tire like the Michelin Pilot, as wide (definitely) and/or tall as possible, and still maintain as much positive handling as possible. Am I asking too much, and should I just stay with stock size tires?

SSR SP3 19x9.5SL +18 and 19x11SL +11

275/35/19? Hankook V12 Evo
305/30/19? Hankook V12 Evo

The question is will it fit fine? Do I have to get a camber kit? Will I rub with 275s in the front?

Fronts will rub!

Rears will be fine. Depending on your suspension setup will depend on if you need camber kits. I would highly recommend them anyway.

Thanks much Mike! Should I just go with 255/35/19 then? I plan on just doing Swift Springs.

I was reading on the Meaty Tire Thread that people were running 275/305 easily. I may be wrong.

They are easy with the right offset. +18 on 9.5 puts your right at the limit. Im at +20 with a 255/40/18 on front and I rub on big bumps. Though im only at -1.7 degrees camber. More camber = more clearance. Ill probably go to -2.5 here in a bit and will be fine.
jamtinge likes this.
