If you use the wheel tire calculator it should tell you how much closer it would be. Not sure if you have a sport model so those tires would be wider already. I have 285 on a 10" et 30mm and it just barely clears. Go ahead and plug my wheel and tire in and then use the one you are considering and if it is any closer then you know it won't fit. Use rimsntires.

The size calculator says 100% clear for everything, I used your size as the OEM and 275/40 on a 18x9.5 et27 as my new set up. Hopefully it works!
