just making sure these will work. Tires only have 2k miles on them so want to use them for when i drive cross country twice and up the east coast twice and then I want to get some nicer tires than what the PO bought. Friend has a buyer for his Z but the buyer wants stock wheels for it. I have no clue on what i'm doing as far as offset.

Outside of front wheel will be in just 0.04" further than a Nismo & rears will be out 0.71" further than a Nismo.
On the rear, a good bit more out on the base & sport

Hey all, I'm new to the club and a new 370Z owner!! 2012 base model.. I was trying to sell my wheels that I had that were for my previous car but that didn't happen.. so deciding to keep them and wanted to ask here for some help on tire sizes!! I know I will have to run negative camber and I will be planning to get coilovers and front and rear camber mods...

the wheel sizes are:

F: 18x10 +11
R: 18x11 -1

I'm trying to run the widest tire I can without to much stretch.. I saw one of the members car, i think his name is ccastro, not sure but if I remember right he's running 18x9.5 +12 and 18x10.5 +0 245/45 and 275/40 and loved how his car looked!! would this be the same tire sizes I would run or can I go wider? sorry for all the newb questions but still learning a lot especially when it comes to all these numbers lol!! any advice, info and help would be much appreciated!!!

thanks!!!

They will fit; you may have to be more on the -side of the rear camber spec.
Fronts will sit fine/ while rears may try to poke a tad (all pending rear camber setting)
Do you drive a base, sport or Nismo now?

I've got the same size wheels with nearly the same offsets (+25 and +12) and am running 265/305. I think they're the perfect size tires for this combo. I'm on Swifts and have zero rubbing issues.

Hope this helps.

Dear Fitment Senseis,

Do any of you have a picture of 19x9.5+30 with 255/35/19s in the front? I'm currently running 20x9.5+35 up front with 255/30/20 tires and its snug (bc dropped). The overall diameter of the 19s with 255/35/19 tires would be almost the same as my current set-up in the front so I'm trying to figured out if 5mm can make that big of a difference.

Also, I'm having trust issues... So how would I go about measuring the offset of my current wheels? I have a feeling they may not be +35 in the front since apparently most Zs are running fronts at around +20 offset with a nice and tight fit.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Fitment Noobish

Why don't u just stick a bigger tire in fhe fronts? 5mm is soo tiny (less than 1/4"), my eyes can't see the 5mm difference

Because of high risk of rubbing... Also, I like my fronts and rears to have the same diameter so my plan is: 255/35/19 & 305/30/19. I've crunched the #s and they're ALMOST perfect for each other

Well for me the tire setup that you are going to use on your 19" is good (255/35/19 & 305/30/19) now for the wheels in my personal experience, my first first of aftermarket wheels on the Z, I install the Zedd CC10 in 19x9.5+12 & 19x11+15 and the tires that I use was 245/40/19 and 285/35/19 . I love that wheel setup and no rubbing issues at all just in hard bumps... nothing to worry about. Also you have to adjust the camber to make it work but the same nothing to worry about. Here are some pics of my Z with that wheel setup

I hope that can help you in something haha! if you have a question of my 19"wheels setup let me know!
