275/325 combo. |

Read this http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...tart-here.html EDIT: I quickly went through this thread and it appears 19x9.5 +25 will clear our brakes. To elaborate on fitment. Those sizes will fit, but they are a fairly standard fitment for cars without an aggressive drop. The good part, you don't need camber arms or fender work. The bar part, they aren't nearly as flush as they could be. There will be plenty of clearance, esp with those sizes. The tires that Rusty suggested may actually rub without adjustment or fender work depending on your height. The wheels themselves hold you back from achieving an aggressive stance, unless you add spacers. There is no size offered that is aggressive enough. Also, i THINK these wheels are discontinued. The Work website only has the regular work CR Ultimates, not the kiwami spec. My recollection is that the Kiwami was a limited extra concave variant of the CR ultimates, which is why you may be getting just leftover stock from your retailer (or used?). These came out around 2013. |
Question on Volk TE37 Ultra M Spec.
I have a Gun Metallic 370Z and I think the bronze color TE37s would look really good on it. The issue is Rays seems to have discontinued the Bronze color for the OG TE37 and the whole OG TE37 lineup that came in the right size and offset. So the good offset for our Z's is front :19" x 9.5" +22 and rear: 19" x 10.5" +12. Rays has now a new model called TE37 Ultra M Spec, which comes in bronze color. They have the right size and offset for the front but for the rear they only have 19" x 10.5" +32 https://www.rayswheels.co.jp/product...ltra_m&lang=en My question, would the +32 clear the rear sport package brakes? I guess it would look sunk as hell but should be fixed with a 20mm spacer, which would make the effective ET +12 - if I have understood correctly... Other option would be to source some used TE37's and just have them repainted to the desired color. I know some replica brands would probably offer what I'm looking for but I don't want replica wheels. |
I looked into this issue bc it was odd to see the sizes reduced greatly from just a year or so ago; certainly fewer than when I ordered.
My wheel guy, a Rays distributor, confirms that 19x9.5 +22 / 19x10.5 +12 is discontinued they are not popular sizes; HOWEVER, he can still order them. There is probably stock lying around either at Mackin (North American importer) or Japan. Unfortunately he does not ship to Finland. He says you will need to provide your own shipping labels. Send him an email: Tom@Speedimageusa.com His name is Tom Nguyen, he runs Speed Image USA and moves a lot of wheels. One of the bigger retailers I got my wheels from him This happens with Rays. They will say something is discontinued and stop listing them, but you can still buy it. The TE37 OG has been “discontinued” a dozen times, but I still see pallets of them. NO MATTER WHAT DONT BUY EXPENSIVE *** WHEELS IN SHITTY SIZES THAT NEED SPACERS. |

I'm looking for a flush stance with no suspension drop... will this combo fit?
(Front) - Wheel: 19x9.5 +12 Tire: 275/35/19 (Rear) - Wheel: 19x10.5 +12 Tire: 305/30/19 Can't change the wheels specs... but is there a better size for tires? Thanks in advance... |

Or 265/35 and 285/35 Or 255/40 and 285/35 |

Yeah I feel like 275/35 and 305/30 could be too wide for the wheels. I think 265/35 and 285/35 will be safer but I don't know if will be flush. My other concern is the front wheel, not sure that the +12 offset will make it. |
Youll be fine. Im running a 10.5 +12 on my g37 sedan no issues.. 305 is damn wide with a +12. Personally I'd do 285/35

The 10.5 +12 in the rear is fine. It's not even that aggressive, you can slap any tire on there and it'll fit
9.5 +12 is moderately aggressive in front as most people run +22 The common combo is 265/35 and 305/30 for 9.5/10.5 wheels More to the point . . . if your suspension is stock, you are not flush. Sorta defeats the whole point of "flush" The stock nismo is 245/40 and 285/35 and it is a little bit stretched (and thats a factory setup) |

that Advan set up is garbage. There's like three feet of wheel gap. You can stick your head in that gap. There's a reason why nobody should run 18's on a Z except for track - it looks like poop
buy real wheels in 19/20 buy coilovers and the SPL setup take your car to a good alignment shop enjoy your awesome looking car |

Currently looking for tires... Suspension setup after that! |
I have;
FR 19x9.5 +25 (Work M8R) on 265/40 (Goodyear Eagle F1) RR 19x10.5 +12 (Work M8R) on 295/35 (Goodyear Eagle F1, 12 inch tread width) The front tyres rub when I hit bumps or pot holes or even wavy roads.... my car is the Nismo 370Z MY17 so the front fender wheel well trim has an attachment point for the wheel arc garnish that bulges out... this bulge rubs my tyres. I confirmed it by seeing the "hole" on the bulge's edge created by the tyre rub... |
Your tire sizes are off. They are taller than stock. You should have gone 265/35 front and 305/30.
Also, I assume you did not get front camber arms Lastly, take those ******* nismo fender flares off, they hurt clearance |

FWIW, I am also running 265/35 fronts on the factory Nismo wheels, no rubbing at all. I did notice a big improvement in turn-in and front end responsiveness over the stock 245/40's. Only drawback that I can see is that the car "tracks/tramlines" more when driving on roads with tire grooves from heavy trucks. (2010 Nismo, no suspension mods)

295/45zr 18 in rear-Speedometer issues
I put 275/40zr 18 in the front and 295/45zr 18 in the rear of my 2012 Z. After install the speedometer stopped working and dash lights are all on, ABS, traction control; service engine. Anyone else experience this issue??? It gave me speed sensor code, I was told calibrate then reprogram speed sensors, then go with 305/35/18 in rear...I need helllppp!!!!
\ |
Have to keep the tire diameter within 3% front and rear.
|
I'm thinking of going with 305/35/18 in the rear and keeping the 275/40/18 in the front, hopefully this resolves the issues. Thanks!
|
That is within the acceptable range (26.7 vs 26.4 inches)
for future reference use this free calculator: https://tiresize.com/height-calculator/ |

275/40-18 and 305/35-18 gives you a 0.8% difference. Much better. |
I read so many threads and keep seeing some conflicting info.
Will I rub? F 9.5 +15 stock size MPSS R 10 -5 stock size MPSS I just bought some SWIFTs on Black Friday and want to make sure I won’t rub since the wheels are fairly aggressive. |
guessing you're gonna rub. probably in front, possibly in rear.
Did you get that rear size right? You found a 19x10, -5 sized wheel? The standard fitment off shelf, if you read my WHEEL FITMENT 101 thread, is 19x9.5 +22, 19x10.5 +12. You're going past that, and on swifts which are aggressive lowering springs really, what you need to do is: read my thread return the springs buy coilovers and the SPL **** thrive |
Rears are 10 +15 on a 20mm spacer to match the stance of the more aggressive fronts (9.5+15). I wanted to keep the original width ratio close from the stock wheels (added -25mm offset to the front and -22mm offset in the rear compared to NISMO wheels). I got these wheels off a 350z. They look great with stock suspension with a very slight poke. I like stock suspension for what I need. Lowering just for looks.
So does it sound like I should just keep stock suspension until I get slightly less aggressive wheels? |
I laid the plan out for you pretty clearly

All I’m hearing is you want your stance to suck
U know the stock camber is terrible right? |

I also managed to pick up some lightly used Tein coilovers. I am not into slammed stance, I like to drive the car. How much would you recommend I make the drop - 1in all around? A little more? Which SPL part did you mention as a must? |
Seems like you have a very limited and outdated view of how suspension, specifically for the 370Z works.
Stance and daily driving are far from mutually exclusive, as long as you do it right. I am running tire to fender height, 20x11 +15 and 20x12 +20. Although I do not drive the car every day, i could. I wouldn't take it to a race track at this height, but i could certainly get groceries or whatever routine stuff you're going to do with your car. If you want TRACK advice, you should read our forum section on that as there are several threads about optimizing performance for racing. The simplest way to daily a stanced car is air; it's really unbeatable to have maximum adjustability of looks and functionality Or you can get a good set of coilovers that have proper valving to match the spring rate, and the ride will be barely worse than stock. I'm running 14/10 rates on Aragostas, they're totally liveable. i've driven 80 miles back and forth, in traffic, and its completely fine. Others can give similar experience with good coilovers, such as Fortune, Powertrix. I have no experience with Tein; and if you're set is used, then no one knows what the condition is like. I would 100% recommend Fortune Auto - built in USA and rebuildable stateside, can be built to your spec, reasonably priced; and you can also slap on their version of a cup kit so you have extra height when needed (this will cost more). The absolutely needed SPL part is their Front Upper Control Arm, which gives camber and caster adjustability (stock has no adjustment), bulletproof build quality (folks beat on their parts on the track and they hold up), their own adjustment mechanism that lets the alignment tech do it on the car, and also they are located in Texas and offer great product support as needed. Once you have camber adjustment in front you can basically run any wheel you want - the Z34 chassis has a ton of clearance. At the upper limits you may need to roll your fenders (which is best practice anyways) and adjust tire sizing. In the rear, there is limited adjustment, but all three arms and the lockout kit are recommended. Visit their website for specifics, or call SPL Parts and the folks there will be happy to help you out. Sadly, you might have missed their Black Friday sale but there MAY be some sort of Christmas sale. Ask them for pricing (or the vendor of your choice, i used Import Parts Pro which is/was a sponsor here). A 1-inch drop is nothing, if you have camber adjustment and those specs (19x9.5 +22, 19xx10.5 +15),there should be no clearance issues. I don't know why you are ******* with spacers while bitching about daily driving. if you want to actually look good, do it right |
Looking at a set of winter tires, found a square setup 235/40/18 with stock rims off a wrx sti, far as i can tell they should fit just unsure because they're +55 offset? would this still fit and just look kinda like ****?
