this nismo has rolled fenders from the factory, at least in back
and wrong fitment, well, i'm aware that is your state of mind and i'll leave it alone |

I don't mind rolling fenders as long as I can keep my fender liners. But if I don't have to... I would like to leave em alone. |

I think rolling is smart to do to give more freedom to test fitments and ride heights. I assume you're talking about pulling though. Tomato tamato, I suppose. |

i'm sure you know pulling is totally different than the work required to fit wide body
Namely, metal vs fiberglass and widebody can be replacement fenders (at least in front) or cut/cover |
Need Help With Tire Sizing!!
I am looking to run varrstoen es1 20x10 and 20x11 (+15 all around) on my 370Z. Im thinking about running spacers on it but I want to make sure these will fit good, I am looking to get fender to lip fitment. Help out please!
|
The 20x11 will fit in the rear, the fronts should technically fit but that will depend on the inner clearance of the wheel. IIRC for the 19s the 9.5 et22 wouldn't clear the Akebonos but the et12 would (that's IF you have Akebonos or another form of BBK). However, if you're going to run spacers then it probably won't matter either way since you're probably going to go through a few getting perfect fender to lip fitment when you air out.
|
I think the first question is what sort of suspension are you running?
If you have the SPL adjustable stuff, those sizes fit easily They're slightly more aggressive than the 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +12 that is a standard, no hassle fitment for aftermarket wheels like Northstyle said those, there's issues with the fronts clearing the Akebono brakes If you start adding spacers those fronts will quickly start demanding that you adjust camber to fit |
I was wondering if I can get some help on the fitment of these wheels that I'm about to purchase.
TE37 OG 19x9.5 +12 Fronts, 19x10.5 +12 Rears. I do plan to lower my Z, can I simply purchase the SPL upper control arms and be fine with no rubbing or will I have to roll the fenders as well? Any input is appreciated thanks! |

You should be fine with a competent suspension shop
But No reason not to roll for max clearance |

I think you may be able to get away with rolling your fenders to avoid rubbing but I would suggest getting a set of front upper control arms so you can adjust your camber (I recommend SPL). |

Thank you so much! |
Does anyone know how much room we have to shift a wheel to the inside of the front wheel without issues? I am trying to fit a 19x10.5 wheel with 285/35/19's on the front. Current setup is 19x10 +29. It looks like 19x10.5 +34 will work like a champ if I have 7mm of room to the inside.

That’s on stock suspension & about a finger clearance at tightest point. |

Stock Z looking to get Rohana FR2s in 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. Anyone have tire fitment suggestions?
Can't seem to find anyone with these wheels in 19", is it safe to use fitment specs for another 19" wheel? |
Please look through the existing wheel threads and get a better idea of wheel sizing for our cars
Looking here: https://www.getyourwheels.com/view-w...rotary-forming Shows available sizes for this wheel and there is nothing close to proper fitment in 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 for our cars - frankly, there are no sizes at all for this wheel that i'd run on a Z a stock nismo uses 19x9.5 +43 and 19x10.5 +23, just to get an idea of where the factory starts |
Updated Tire & Wheel Fitment Question:
Any advice, knowledge, constructive feedback is welcome. Please and thankyou! -------------------------------------------------------- Current -- || 370z || 2009 || Sport Package || Coup Model || 275/35/19 Rear with Rims that fit -- Transfer to new 275s and put those in the Front of the car 245/40/19 Front with Rims that fit -- Cannot transfer these to 305s, I highly doubt the current rims on these tires will fit 305s. Even if it was 9.5" I would not want to put those on the 305s. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Have: - 305/30/19 Rear [Need 10.5" Rims] -- Purchase new 10.5" rims [TSW Nurburgrings] -- With stock offset of +41 - 275/35/19 Front [Need 9.5"+ Rims] -- Transfer from current Rear rims and swap these tires to the front. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spacers: - 15mm spacers for front (Will be on 275s) - 20mm spacers for rear (will be on 305s) ~*~ I can remove these spacers if necessary, assuming they make my car rub...I will remove them otherwise I won't ~*~ -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Coilovers: - KW V3 [Car is lowered so I don't know how much this will affect this new tire setup I'm looking at? Rub? No Rub? Should I adjust it back to stock height? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any advice, knowledge, constructive feedback is welcome. Please and thankyou! UPDATE: My car is actually previously forum user 'aznroadster' I found out when looking for wheel/tire specs. I now possess his car lol. However he was running different tires back then, and now I have different sized tires than he did (305/30 and 275/35) so I'm guessing either he, or someone else after him bought 275s and 245s and put them on the car in which I have now. I have no idea if the rims are the exact same or if the owner(s) after him just bought the same exact rims as he did to fit the smaller tires? Kind of confused. lol |
You sure of that name. I searched and can't find aznroadster.

my advice would be to sell all the tires, wheels, and spacers
buy a wheel/tire package that you want. Preferrably in some real sizes. but i guess if you wanna continue down this path for some reason: https://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_nur...hp#wheel-specs Thats the size sheet for TSW Nurburgings. You said the fronts are 19x9.5 +41, that is listed on there so it appears correct. Is is roughly the same as a stock nismo front (19x9.5 +40) If you want to match the garbage spec of an OEM nismo you can get a 19x10.5 +25. I'm sure your 275 and 305 tires will work with those sizes |

Forgestar CF5v question
Hey folks. Just looking for a little advice on some Forgestar wheels before I order. I've contacted a few people on here but haven't gotten responses quickly enough so I guess they're loaded down with inquiries or long since inactive.
I'll be running swift springs and spl camber arms. I'd like to run 19x9.5+20 with a 245/40/19 Front 19x11+17 with a 285/35/19 Rear Deep Concave version front and rear. (I don't care for the super deep look). This should clear sport brakes with no issues right? Also are these wheels hub-centric so no need for rings? |
The Deep concave should clear in front. I recall a specific discussion about why the Z34 has to run Deep instead of Super Deep due to sport brakes
These are hubcentric per Get Your Wheels's sale thread: http://www.the370z.com/tires-wheels/...tup-stock.html EDIT: Apparently, there IS a version of super deep concave that will clear akebonos http://www.the370z.com/tires-wheels/...ml#post3020508 Quote:

You could always run a 245. I mean, a stock nismo runs a 245 on a 9.5 inch wheel, half an inch from stock should be fine
Probably get you into the -3.5 camber range depending on height and fender pull What am i talking about tho - for street, i'd stick with 20s, lol (tbf i thought about going with a 20x10.5 +24 Advan GT in front) |
Quote:
Ok so the Deep Concave clears the front but not the back? I'd HAVE to run Super Deep in rear to clear akebono? Also that link is for the F14. I'm looking for the CF5V(if they are made the same then forgive me). If thats the case then I guess I need to find a different set of wheels since I'm not a fan of the Super Deep Concave look. :wtf2: |
No can do bro, the roads here in SC are turrrrble... plus I love how they look... plus I'm stubborn lol.
I need to get my alignment checked so I can see what needs to be done. I have the last alignment chart, but it's in German and it's been over a year since it was set so it's due for a checkup. I mean... my street setup has 20s too... in the rear :D ...and gonna do a pseudo-drift Advan GT front/TE37 Ultra rear? Honestly, it'd probably look sick so go for it but it's a "downgrade" (of sorts) from your current setup; thinking of a bit more tire/less stretch up front? |

I would assume their flow-formed wheels would have a standard fitment depending on which face regardless of model F14/CF5/CF5V/etc. Try contacting GetYourWheels as they're the local forum Forgestar gurus. |
