Friend again...

I realllllllllly like this setup. I really want to have something close to it. Is setup is Front 20x9 +20 245/30/20 Rear 20x10.5 +15 285/30/20

Want to achived this setup with Stance SC-5 matte black and with swift spring...I will have no chance to drop! so...should I go on 19s or 20s??

Using 245/40r19 front and 285/45r19 rear
Using 245/30 or 35r20 front and 285/30r20 rear

19s 19x9.5 +20 or +35 offset front and 19x10.5 +20 offset rear
20s 20x9 +20 or +32 offset front and 20x10.5 +27 offset rear

Tks for all for your replies :)

Maybe this a little off topic.. but lug nuts!

I am looking to put Pf01's on.

18x9.5 +15 and 10.5 +15

I have learned that I need aftermarket lugs for aftermarket wheels.

I am currently looking at Rays 35mm. Both wheels and nuts are acorn seat i believe. Do I or will I need it to be longer or shorter?

+25 on both front/rear wheels... could go +20 on rears w/factory camber....as rear camber is 2x more negative than the front.

your tire sizing is so completely ****** up

i dont know why you're trying to such tall *** tires

245/40/19 F; 285/35/19 is the stock nismo sizing, it'll work on whatever wheels and be fine and maintain stock diameter instead of looking like a goddam monster truck

for 20s do 245/35/20 and 285/30/20

That's where I was figuring my tolerance would be. Am guessing a 5mm spacer, perhaps 10 will end up where I want it, but ultimately I need to see how much bulge I'm getting from that 345 and adjust accordingly. I'd found some good reference iPhoto's of those tires on same size rims and it looks like I'll have no problems, especially as they run narrow in terms of tread width, which is actually closer to a 325 just without the extra sidewall.

In any case the order is in and will see what happens.

I won't end up 2x -camber out back co pared to front but probably dial it in at 1.5x or so. I'll leave that until they are mounted and see where it takes me.

Sorry I had not read me but yeah 45 in the rear is a monster truck...was 35 I had in mind.

How about the setup? With swift lowering spring that drop 1in approx and the good tire setup on 19s or on 20s I should be fine? Offset little bit higher than his setup so should be fine and be quite flush in fender.

If I go 20s 20x9 +20 offset front and 20x10.5 +27 offset rear and a spacer of 10mm in the rear should have the same setup as him. Right? Will not need camber adjustment and will clear everything?

Tks

OptionZero 02-09-2017 05:42 PM

it'll clear everything

Justint5387 02-13-2017 10:50 AM

Would 18x10.5 +25 with 275/40/18 clear up front with -2.5 to -3 camber?

OptionZero 02-13-2017 01:50 PM

Yup

GetYourWheels 02-15-2017 11:43 AM

Heres a meaty Forgestar setup we did for our Z customer that I didnt think would fit but it did!
F14 20x9.5/11 with 265/35 325/30 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s!

http://i.imgur.com/8WmCR98.jpg
Just a little bit of fender roll needed on the front and 1.8 degrees of camber on the rear. Other than that it worked great!

kyriian 02-15-2017 05:02 PM

Would anyone be able to tell me if
19x10.5 +25 fit in the front with 275/40 19 tires? I'm maxed out camber at -2.5

OptionZero 02-15-2017 05:38 PM

Is that the right tire size? 275/40/19 = 27.7, about an inch taller than stock! DO NOT run that size

Go 275/35 (26.6 inch, basically stock diameter) or 285/35 (26.9)

Bear in mind depending on your height you may rub the front bumper tab, so your shop will have to shave it down or relocate the mounting location

Thanks. I am running 35. I must have mistyped.

I kinda figure it will be tricky to fit. Thanks

OptionZero 02-15-2017 06:13 PM

any decent shop should be able to cut that tab, its plastic

from other threads it seems like some people didn't even cut it and it just rubbed off on its own (not sure i'd go that route)

but again if u aren't super low it may not rub at all)

Samster51 02-17-2017 10:37 PM

Would 18" x9 e44 fit on a 370z? It's 5x112 so id need adapters and probably spacers right?

OptionZero 02-17-2017 11:01 PM

stop
no

please
stop

ow

thats
ugh

throw those wheels away or give them to a dude with a car that uses that bolt pattern

just take half an hour and read some of these fitment threads man, you'll see thats not even close

Ghost116 02-18-2017 09:01 PM

With option zero on that's one..... wrong bolt pattern. And worse offsets and sizes then stock so why do it?

Guyfromthere 03-03-2017 02:04 AM

Just to be sure, TE37SL 19x9.5 +22 / 19x10.5 +12 stock height with 265/35 | 305/30 will fit without any issues fellas?

Jason@GetYourWheels hooked me up with these Forgestars...car is dirty from early pollen & not the greatest weather/ but stock ride height @-0.75*camber on all 4corners.
285/35,345/30's on 19x10,12's....minimal fab needed on rears for clearance....7" backspace front & 8" rear. Absolutely No rubbing or scraping.
(Forgive me Jason for car being dirty)https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2f47d037fc.jpg

Sorry if this has been posted previously. Got through about 30 pages and stopped cause my eyes were hurting.
I am looking to get new tires for my 2011 Sport Touring with the stock wheels.
Stock ride height currently but would like to install Swift springs (at some point). And I currently have no spacers.
I do have the FI TT kit on the car and was hoping to go wider in the back for more contact area.
Couple questions.
1) What is the widest tire that I can install on the front and rear without rubbing and ballooning?
2) I thought that I read that there is a rule of thumb on width differential from front to rear. What are the pros/cons for not following this rule of thumb?
3) Looking at the Michelin Pilot Super Sports at the moment from reviews and a little bit on the tread life. Are there better options of tires that last roughly 15K miles (for spirited driving, not tracking the car)?
I'm currently thinking these in the PSS. Front 255/40R19 Rear 295/35R19.?

Thanks for any assistance!

OptionZero 03-03-2017 03:32 PM

Im always amazed that someone would drop 10k on a TT kit and cheap out on suspension

Just don't know what I want to do yet for suspension, but I need tires now.
Thanks why I thought I would ask here.

OptionZero 03-03-2017 04:00 PM

Grab some cheap nismo wheels and 265/305 like everyone does

As for what you should do, thats easy

Call spl. Get everything
Coilovers: aragosta, ast, or cheaper option, powertrix

Thanks! Already looking at SPL when I finally decide on suspension. Need to recover a bit from the TT install and wanted to get a set of tires to tide me over until I do it all.
Still wondering about my original questions though with my stock rims.

Thanks again!

265/305 will fit on sport rims...you will need spacers, rear camber arms, toe bolts and front A arms.

Hey guys. Would 10mm extended studs from Z1 fit OEM 18 wheels with OEM nuts? I have some TE37SL with Formula nuts coming next month, so would be using these studs with those wheels, but in the meanwhile I am wondering if it would be safe to install 10mm extended studs right away without spacers. Thanks

OTW Z-Boy 03-15-2017 09:04 AM

I wouldn't

as long as it doesn't bottom out in head of nut...remove one & test fit.

I am looking for a nice rim in 19x10 for the front and 19x12 for the rear. What offsets do I need. Tires will be RE11 285/35/19 for the front and 325/30/19 for the rear. I have been looking for data on this site for a while. There is just so much, it's crazy.

19x10.0 +22 ~ +30ish
19x12.0 +20 ~ +30ish

Depending on the type of fitment you are going it will depend. But those should be a pretty good start. What kind of wheel were you looking at getting?

NismozZz 03-17-2017 04:25 PM

Just picked up a set of Works 19x10 +10 and 19x11 +10 for my 16 Nismo. Thinking about running the stock size Nismo tires 245/40/19 285/35/19 or should I move up to a 255 in the front. I'm looking for a low but functional look...

What do you call functional? I would go nothing less than 265 f and 305 rear. With the setup you got you can run as wide as spooler is doing above...it's functional and looks bad a$$! No reason not to go with a wide tire given the size of your wheels unless you like that stretched look!
