The WHEELS will fit, the sizes are fairly standard

The tires are too tall

275/40/19 = 27.7 in
305/35/19 = 27.4 in

Both are significantly taller than stock which raises your ride height and eat clearance

SeeThruHead 05-12-2022 03:53 PM

ride height gain, arch gap loss:

front 12mm
rear 7mm

We’re ignoring the folly of buying wheels AND THEN asking about fitment

Seems obvious the order should be reversed

Cause i need to raise the car to fit these, so its gonna be done at the shop, i have a feeling they won't fit unless i jack up the car past stock height which i dont want...i want flush fitment

Z34_JU 05-13-2022 11:41 PM

Hey thanks for the reply, much appreciated. Perfect so it's the tires front & back that will not fit? What do you suppose is the perfect spec tires?

OptionZero 05-14-2022 12:18 AM

265/35/19
305/30/19

You want flush fitment but you, dont know anything about wheel sizing

You need to read this

http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...tart-here.html

Coilovers and SPL arms are required

What is the most aggressive tire/size that I can put on a 19' rear Sport Ray rim? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I'm interested in the TC105X. I'd like to run 18x10.5 all around, the wheel comes with either +12 or +25 offset in that size. The +12 offset would be preferrable, is anyone running 18x10.5 TC105s up front and if so what offset did you choose? Just want to know if the +12 offset will clear the Akebonos.

k67p67 07-05-2022 10:10 PM

I doubt the 18x10.5 will clear the Akebonos. Caliper clearance is dependent upon pad size, barrel diameter, spoke articulation. Both of the offset sizes offered only come in Weds' RR face which is the most concave of their three face designs. You might be able to run a spacer though I'm not sure what size and you may have to pull/roll the fender and/or run more camber. Rears should fit.

OptionZero 07-06-2022 04:51 PM

It's a track oriented wheel so they may have designed it for a good amount of brake clearance

OTOH, when I had some Work Emotion XD9's, i found out the hard way that wheels designed for "Rear" fitment had a thicker inner barrel, with less clearance diameter-wise.

generally you will need to check for your specific wheel with your manufacturer/retailer

ALL THAT SAID

You are a lucky SOB. See here:

18x11 +15 all around

k67p67 07-06-2022 07:04 PM

Well, there's your answer. I stand corrected. The 18" RR face will accommodate the Akebonos. Good looking out OZ!

Spunk 07-09-2022 08:39 PM

OptionZero and k67p67, thank you both very much for your input! I will gladly be purchasing a set of four 18x10.5 +12 TC105Xs soon. I'll post some pictures in the 18s thread since there doesn't seem to be anyone on the forum running them in that sizing.
