OEM sport rays
Wheel Size: 19x9 (front), 19x10 (rear)
Wheel Offset: +47 (front), +30 (rear)
Tire Size: 245/40/19 (front), 275/35/19 (rear)
H&R drop spec 1.3 front and 1.0 rear

I couldn't say for sure one way or the other if you'll rub on bumps, most likely you will have some rubbing on bumps. Best bet would be to go measure, the front offset your looking at would bring the front wheel out 41mm's. Being lowered and trying to get oem camber might give you some problems. I am in no way an expert so please take this will a grain of salt.

So I should be ok with 275 (30) and 305 (30)? Tire Rack doesn't seem to think there are 28 aspect ratio tires.

+25 and +28 are the rim offsets. LOL ;)

dmhenderson 02-06-2014 10:00 PM

Oh ok that makes sense. I thought we were talking tires.

fairlady_z34 02-08-2014 12:25 AM

so does anyone know what is the bare minimum offset that can be ran on these cars front/rears with oem camber settings without rubbing lowered on springs and stock height? i think that would be great info for a lot of ppl and save a lot of headache going through every single post

KaienZ34 02-08-2014 08:39 AM

Not everything can be handed to you on a silver platter, if it's worth knowing it's worth your time to find out.

KaienZ34 02-08-2014 08:43 AM

This thread, the link I posted and a ruler plus you going outside and checking for yourself should be all that you need. Give a man a fish, he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and he eats for a life time.

1010TIRES.COM - Wheel Offset Calculator

fairlady_z34 02-08-2014 10:37 AM

you have point, but im sure somone have already done what you just said probably even you. wouldnt be that hard to just post it up after they done the calculations by getting that ruer and, offset calculator going outside to measure it and vice versa. still would have save time for a lot of ppl with the info rather than having to go outside and measure it yourself

LMBmikeZ 02-08-2014 07:41 PM

so I am looking at some 305s for my stock rays

found a set of 305/25/19 I can get off a porsche buddy, tires still have 75-80% tread left and it's a steal of a deal! Only worry cause it is little over one inch less sidewall then OEM what do you guys think? I guess it means less there to rub on anything :ugh2:

Should I say F-it and roast them off this coming driving season like I do to all my tires......:driving:

Big J 02-09-2014 07:47 PM

Alright, I'm going to pull the trigger tonight or tomorrow if I can get some feedback. So will it fit? I am lowered on H&R Springs.

Option 1
19x9.5 +20 255/35/19
19x11 +18 305/35/19

Option 2
19x9.5 +20 275/35/19 or 275/30/19
19x11 +18 305/35/19

virtuosoondis 02-12-2014 02:18 AM

jgaddi 02-13-2014 06:01 PM

I'm looking to do a square setup and buy TE37's off a friend's Evo.

(4x) 18x9.5 +35
with either 15mm or 25mm spacers in the rear.

I'm lowered on swifts. Will this fit? Also, looking for advice on some meaty tires to throw on them.

KaienZ34 02-13-2014 06:10 PM

9.5" is pretty thin for the rear of our cars, but I'd put the 25mm in the rear and 10mm-15mm up front. With those specs I'd go with something like the stock nismo tires being 245/40---285/35.

andytn3591 02-14-2014 12:49 AM

I'm looking for a set of tire for the Rays Forged 19" which came with the sport package. But I realized that they are staggered

Wheel Size: 19x9 (front), 19x10 (rear)

Do I have any trouble running all the wheel as 275 x 35 x 19 ? Will they fit ?

Thanks.

JVerge5363 02-28-2014 09:40 AM

On stock roadster 19" sport rays can I go 305/30 in rear and 275/35 in front with no spacers? And any change if I lowered the car 1.25"? Anyone have pics of a similar set-up???

shfeddy 03-06-2014 07:23 AM

I am thinking of getting either 305/30/18 or 305/35/18 for the rear of my 09 base model. Ive seen alot of drivers have no problems with a similar setup, but they were using 19's.. any problems with using this setup?

BrooklynBully 03-08-2014 09:35 PM

Sup Fellas, I wanted to know what yall thought.. Just got my Hands on;

20x10 +30 offset fronts

20x12 -2mm rears..

I lowered on HKS coils.. I dont want to have to stretch the tires that much but I want the wheels to sit nice and flush.. What tire do you guys think I should go with?

370z nismo. thankss

It really depends on the design of the wheel face (spokes) +12 SHOULD but it may not... just depends.

I think most varrs clear brembo and akebono.. shoot the guys at varrstoen a call and they will be able to tell you a yes or no. Lots of Zs and Gs running their wheels.

Duplicity807 03-20-2014 04:01 PM

How about this:

OEM Nismo 370z Wheels
245/35/19 + 15mm spacers
275/35/19 + 20mm spacers

Car is 350z fenders already pulled

Will this trip VDC?

Shouldnt but YMMV. I'm running 245/30/20 and 285/30/20 rear and its fine. Mine are over 3% different. But I also have a 370.. not sure if the 350 will be the same.

Beachhz 03-23-2014 01:28 AM

I have a pretty simple question for a simple setup, I'm just too retarded to figure it out plus the search option keeps coming up blank.

When I get my 370z, I was looking at CV3's.

I want to get 20x10.5 +15 all around, but I'm not sure what tire would fit them well. I heard a 20mm spacer would fit perfectly in the rear. For the tire size, I was thinking 275/35/20. How would that fit, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fantastic Z 03-27-2014 08:26 PM

I would like some extra input on this wheel fitment. Im trying to fit;
19x9.5 +25 255/40-19 front
19x10.5 +12 285/35-19 rear
My z is at stock height and alignment. I think the rear will work fine but, the front has me worried about poking :/

Rusty 03-27-2014 08:47 PM

The front will fit fine. I'm using the same spec but with a 275/35-19. The rear I don't know.

stuy486 03-28-2014 01:24 PM

Interested in any input on these wheels. I'm looking to go down to 18" wheels for weight savings and tire cost savings for autocrossing purposes.

Due to class rules (C Street), I have to maintain stock width and be with 6mm of stock offset. Yes, the rules are silly, I'm aware.

2012 Base w/ Sport Package
Advan RG III
18x9+45
18x10+35

The main worry is the spokes getting around the front calipers.

Do any of you guys know if the varrstoen es6 will fit the 370z on stock suspension? Here are the specs and tire size.
19x9.5 +12 / 225/35
19X11 +15 / 245/35

Those tire sizes are too narrow. Stock is much wider than that.

Thats what I was thinking. Thanks for the confirmation. but I really wanted to know if es6 will fit the 370z just fine

sekz370 03-30-2014 10:42 PM

So does anyone know if the offsets of the wheels are ok to put on?

JVerge5363 03-31-2014 06:58 PM

Stance SC-5

20x10+35

It will poke a bit in the front, you will need 2.5 degrees of neg camber to have it tuck.

Same sizes I have:

265/35-19 front will fit perfectly
305/30-19 rear will fit perfectly

Depending on your drop/camber you can fit up to:

275/35-19 front
325/30-19

275/305's on Stock Sport Rays

I just had Bridgestone 275/35/19 & 305/30/19 S-04's mounted on the stock sport Rays wheels (19x9x47 & 19x10x30) with no problems. No changes to suspension settings and no rubbing or interference. Tire Rack had told me that there might be problems, but they fit perfectly. They track straight and have crisp and precise steering. The S-04's are also much quieter than the OEM RE-050A's. I'm a happy guy.

I have one if someone can help me....

F 19x11-4
R 19x11-16
