Coming up on needing to change tires I’m currently running 265/35/19 and 305/30/19 on a 19x9.5 and 19x11. Can I jump up to a 265/40 and 305/35 combo? Want to fill wheel gap up without going any lower considering my exhaust always scraped speed bumps. Will the ABS and TCS lights come on?

Be no problem. You'll only be .3% difference.

Can someone advise what the best rim size might be for 18in wheels that clear the akebono brakes on springs. Im looking for something for the street/track that will have more tires available - clear the akebono brakes - and look flush with no poke. and if you can recommend any tire sizes id be most grateful.

Come on did you not read through this section or the thread on 18s on a Z. Try Google! It simply depends on many things. One of them being how much do you want to spend, are you going square? First try and help yourself and then come back with this what I am thinking, I want to run square setup or staggered. I like like Enkie's, Rays or whatever.

Not trying to be **** but there are a lot of options!

Current setup: Stock 2011 Base Wheels
225/50 R18
245/45 R18
Lowered on swift springs

Goals: Use the same tires (they are brand new michelin sport)
Be able to clear akebono (plan on upgrading some day)
Have a flush fit

That being said, I was looking at the Vordoven Forme 15 because I live right by their warehouse and I like to support local when I can.

My setup options are 18x8.5 +30
18x9.5 +22 or +30

Would this setup achieve any or all of my goals?

You will be able to keep your current rubber but those sizes will leave you a country mile from being flush. You'll be 25-30mm sunken in front and 30-35mm sunken in the rear. Makes more sense to sell your whole current setup and buy new (or used) wider aftermarket wheels.

I just bought a set of the Nismo 57cr in white. Sizes are 18x9.5+38 and 18x10.5+12.I have akebonos brakes aswell. Now i know that the rears (obv the 10.5) will fit and the fronts (9.5+38) will not fit. I know that i will need a slight spacer. Im just wondering if anyone has or is currently running this size and what size spacer they are using upfront to make the wheel flush and clear the brakes.

Also there are 213 pages so don’t be an a****** and say go search.

Return your fronts and buy better sizes

EDIT:
18x9.5 +22 is sold out. I mean this should make it pretty obvious what size spacer you need . . .

but a better solution:
Return your fronts AND your rears

buy 19x9.5 +25 and 19x10.5 +12

If these are for the track and you want 18's your fronts are all wrong.

Looking into buying Akebono's for my base 370z. Wheels are Enkei RPF1's. Anyone know if a 245/45/18 +35 and a 275/40/18 +15 will provide clearance for the calipers? Hoping someone has a similar setup.

OptionZero 07-14-2021 04:09 PM

They will not clear

Buy diff wheels

Bummer, not even with spacers?

i think there are lots of people running 10.5+15 square with sport brakes without front spacer (rear spacer because fitment sucks without one) (at least everyone on FB said it would be fine, so take that for what it's worth)

I wanted to run 9.5+15 front RPF1 and got mixed response on facebook. Still don't know if the face has enough clearance. What is the width of the front wheel you want?

Buy wheels that fit
