Help-wheel questions

You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not read before spending a dime. It'll take you less than an hour to do research. You need to understand:
Height
alignment
wheel spec
tire spec
and how these all interact

and buy 19x9.5 +22, 19x10.5 +12 with 265/35/19 and 305/30/19

Gram Lights
Volk Racing
Work Emotion
Advan

Are all quality brands that make wheels available in those sizes (or thereabouts)

SSR GTF01's are +22 offsets for both front and rear... If i were to get them would rear spacers be needed or would the different wheel specs take care of that?

19x9.5 front +22
19.10.5 rear +22

19x9.5 front +22

19.10.5 rear +22
You can do 10mm spacer if you really want but alot of people. Suggest just running +22 front rear to avoid clearance issues.

skip the lame shock/spring combo

Simple build path:

good entry level coils (Fortune, Powertrix

SPL FUCA and rear arms

something forged or quality cast from a reputable wheel company in 19x9.5 +22 or 19x10.5 +12 (or more aggresive)

265/35/19 and 305/30/19 rubber in a summer compound (don't go all the way down to a 200 TW tire on your daily or you'll be setting money on fire)

throw them all on and go to a quality CUSTOM alignment shop
dial in around -2 camber

done. no rubbing, no fender mods needed, you can drive aggressively assuming the rest of your car is maintained

phase 2 (performance)
a second set of wheel/tire in 18x10.5 or 18x11 +15ish, 200TQ max perf tires
new rotors, pads and fluid
helmet
track day pass
win

or

phase 2 (hard park)
roll/pull fenders
air or air/cup
step up to 3 piece wheels or forged 20inch from Rays/Advan

19x9.5 front +22
19.10.5 rear +22
do it right
get wheels that fit correctly
spacers are for fine brake clearance adjustment or losers who didn't research their wheel fitment ahead of time

SSR GTF01 comes in 20 inch
Get the 20x9.5 +22 and 11 +15
It fits the same

You just need to adjust the aspect ratio from 19's
Run 245/35/20 and 285/35/20 (same widths as a nismo) and there is plenty of space

There's actualy room for more tire but 20 inch tire sizing gets a little bit more limited. I believe 275/30/20 and 315/25/20 is something readily available but i haven't dug around recently for 20 inch tires

If you are set on a 5 spoke design, i would suggest:

Rays Gram Lights 57CR
https://www.rayswheels.co.jp/product...=en&wheel=57CR

or

Nismo 57CR
same wheel with additional detailing
https://www.z1motorsports.com/rays/n...e-p-15189.html

or

Work Emotion T5R
https://www.workwheelsusa.com/product/emotion-t5r/

Forgestar VF5
I have no personal experience with them but owners seem happy enough with them
https://www.forgestar.com/wheels/rot...ck-series/cf5/

or
Advan GT Premium
similar design, both 19 and 20 inch sizes, forged construction, expensive

this is excellent feedback, thank you for taking the time to specify for me.

i will definitely have to do coilovers to get the fitment dialed in perfectly.

my only concern with 20s would be ride height and and performance hindrance, if that even applies. I'm assuming getting the right tire size for 20s wouldn't make the Z sit higher off the ground.

correct
when the wheel diameter goes up with tire's aspect ratio (sidewall height) goes down accordingly

that is covered in the thread i linked you

19 vs 20 does not dictate ride height. overall diameter does

Default Fitment

2009 Nissan 370z. Just bought a set of rpf1s in the sbc finish. 18x9.5+15 F and 18x10.5+15 R. Now i just ordered my tires and i got the Firestone indy500 275/35/18 R and 255/35/18 upfront. Im currently lowered on H&R springs. Does anyone know if the fitment will be somewhat okay? I realistically just want the fitment to be flush and close most if not all of the gap without any slight rubbing. My friend is running the same setup so i just went with somewhat the same specs. But he’s way lower than me (bc’s) Any help/info would be good. If I need to switch it up i will try to swap the tires out for something else. I also don’t want to go crazy wide in the rear, for me I personally don’t think theres a point of running 305s considering i daily the car. Just wanted something to close the rear wheel gap but also be sort of meaty. And the front i could care less just want something to match so the fitment looks good.

and your friend has the EXACT SAME FITMENT ON THE SAME CAR?

Please read your own post and realize how incoherent it is
