I'll be installing 255's on the front and 325's on the rear and will be about a 1/2" lower than stock ride height. I'd like to have them flush with the wheel well lip. Will I have to run a spacer in the front and how will the rears be with the 325?

Edit: I also could go with a 20x10 +40 offset and 285 front. I wonder if that may be a better choice. I just don't want any poke.

Which wheels are you going to go with? Talk to Jason at getyourwheels. Theyre in Santa Fe Springs. He should have examples off what setup youre looking at.

Jason is not there anymore. I think the new guy I think is named Josh I think. He was very helpful when I bought wheels for my wife's Audi.

Only about a half inch. KW-V3's, SPL fuca's, SPL end links, Hotchkis front bar, SPL rear camber and traction arms.

I'm going with Rohana's again. Getyourwheels (Josh) is who I dealt with last time. Unfortunately, the last set I bought with his recommendation I ended up with poke on the front and I had to return the front wheels which was a pain in the azz. He was good to work with but he recommended the wrong offset.

Argh
i guess i have to ask

why are you going with a 3 inch stagger between wheels and 70mm staggered tires?

even if you don't want "poke" (ugh) those fronts are TERRIBLE

Look at the standard TE37 size for fronts, 19x9.5 +22 with a 265/35/19

It fits fine! No crazy camber! You have full SPL, you should be running at minimum something like that

is this a freakin' drag racer?

Toyo doesn't have an r888r in 265 20. That's why I'm looking at going with a 10" wheel with a 285 front instead.

OptionZero 05-23-2019 11:34 AM

you can run a 285 in front with a 10.5 +30ish wheel

hell, i think thats what Hotrod runs for track purposes

and if performance is the goal, then you'll WANT negative camber, so you can really fit more aggressive ****

i mean i have a 275/30/20 in front on a 20x11 +15. Going more conservative than that, like a 10.5 +24 could fit a 285 easily

my next set of tires, i'm actually gonna try the 285 on my fronts

What about a 285 on a 10" +40 wheel?

OptionZero 05-23-2019 11:43 AM

Never heard of a wheel that sunken in front, so my concern would be rubbing on the INSIDE

why are you so hung up on these crappy offsets? you have the SPL FUCAs, right? You can run literally anything you want in front

It's like having a lifetime pass to any strip club you want and going to the library instead

275/40/18 on an 18x10.5 +18

We only have 7in of backspacing on the front. It can be an issue. I looked at running a 10.5in wheel at a +32. It was right at 7in of back spacing which is the limit. I am running R888r's with my current wheel choice and on front I run a 285/35/19. Rears are 325/30/19. That is 12.1in of tire tread width, from what I remember, in the back. R888r's are very wide.

Aren't the stock 9.5" Nismo front wheels +40 offset?

I want to go minimum 11.5 rear, not a lot of offset choices out there without going custom.

A 9.5" wheel with a +40 offset is not the same as a 10.0" wheel or a 10.5" wheel with a +40 offset.
Take your time and don't order anything yet. it appears you have a ways to go to get the look you want.
I would suggest talking with Josh at Kamispeed.

I'm definitely taking my time, the car came with fairly new 265 front and 305 rear RE71's on the stock V1 Nismo wheels. Thanks for the tip on Kamispeed.

OptionZero 05-23-2019 12:28 PM

Stock nismo is 9.5 +40
Look at the fitment:

There is a CAVERN of space, which is why the stock fronts are so terrible
